Launches are never done successfully

Why doesn’t blizzard ever learn? I mean, seriously. Why have everyone launch from ONE spot? Why not just have multiple boats on slightly offset timers? It’s not like there’s ANYTHING in Durotar that’s taking up the space? If everyone crowds the first boat, cool, the rest of us can get on the boat that’s one or two minutes later and a third of the crowd.

And now the World Server is down, after we crashed out. Bravo. Why would you not throw more hampsters at the login servers for today? Or even this whole week? Just unbelievable, because it’s every time.

There is a portal.

Yup, as far as I remember it was buttery-smooth

The last 3 launches were so smooth, I was logged in and my quest popped up. Wonder why this ones going so badly.

I love riding the blizz hate train as much as anyone, but it isn’t accurate to say this happens every time. There have been good launches.

you will sit here and take it, and they know you will.

top streamers are not getting any better treatment. Theyre also playing disconnect roulette :stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe when they didn’t release at 6pm EST - this is such a stupid time to release an expansion. The 12am ones were decently smooth once they figured that out.

where is it

I’ve only done 3 launches but they all seemed pretty smooth.

because everyone would just go to the boat that gets there first anyways

Legion had an extremely smooth launch. Players started at one of a dozen or so singleplayer quest zones, spread all over the entirety of world of warcraft. Then they could funnel into the Broken Isles and begin in any of the five major zones. I understand story focused players found the narrative underwhelming however.

Last few went so well, I’m eating my words right now.

I was doing ok. Just doing my daily quests to start leveling all my 60’s then wham!

World Server Down.

Guess I go get some dinner.

This conspiracy theory is as old as time ::roll_eyes:

played since 5.0… cant remember a launch going successfully… usually can’t play the first day of a new xpac… seems this is no different…

They only have so many servers. They have even fewer places where servers are located. Say you are in the North America area. How are they going to decide if you get to go earlier or later than someone else in that same area?
