I play on a Mac.
I can’t launch the game because the launcher is evidently trying to update or download some files, but it is stuck between “Initializing” and “Waiting on another installation or update.” I have tried causing the downloader to “start this update now” but that has no effect. I have restarted the application. I have rebooted the computer. I have dumped the Battle-dot-net cache more than once, per the advice I found under the only forum topic I could find that seemed to address my issue. (I spelled out Battle-dot-net because it wouldn’t let me submit my post with a link in it.)
I have tried to submit a ticket, but unfortunately I don’t know how to find the information that the form is asking of me (it wants some kind of game files) so the button to submit my request for Blizzard support to contact me remains grayed out. Neither could I submit a request for a chat, for the same reason.
I hope someone sees this post and can help me, because at this point I am unable to launch the game.
Late 2013. I have just now learned how to download a system report that hopefully I can use in submitting a ticket.
Do you know processor speed and video card?
See here’s the thing most systems before windows 10 can no longer run Wow so that’s pretty much every machine made before 2015…

I am on a Mac, not Windows. I am running on a 64-bit system, so that is not the problem; I have been playing the game just fine up till today. But thanks for your response.
Believe me, I played all day Sunday.
Monday mid patch pc crashed.
