I’m trying to play MoP classic for the mount reward.
I see MoP Classic (PTR) and Cataclysm Classic. Can I play through on the MoP Classic PTR for the Shaohao Sage Serpent? Thanks for any insight.
Edit: Oh apparently MoP Classic doesn’t launch until July 21st. Can I get the reward in the PTR? lol

It is still cata classic - the pre-patch for classic MOP downloads - it is the time before clasic Mop you can create a new Panda and try to catch up on levels with it if you wanted to be further along when everyone else starts enjoying panada land with their Mains (non pandas)… pre patch downloaded for me when i downloaded cata classic - log in - see if you can create Panda - create one - do the intro - once you decide on faction Horde or Alliance and accept that quest (i went all the way to main city after the quest and compelted that next one) then log into retail and boom you got mount

MoP Classic won’t be out until July 21st. The way I earned the mount was by rolling a level 1 Pandarian monk, played through the wandering isles starting area quest up until you reach the faction capital of your choice. Inever saw an achievement or pop up about the mount. When I logged into retail the mount was in my Warband Collection.
Edit: No, you can’t earn it from the PTR. You can, however, earn it playing Cata Classic. You just need to play through the Wandering Isles starting area
You can do the Wandering Isle; finish that and you get the mount in retail.
