Hello all, I’ve encountered a weird issue and I’m not very computer savvy. ![ ](https://d38bqls1q93fod.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/sweat_smile.png?v=9)
Upon loading the bnet launcher today and trying to run the game, a window popped up prompting me to install the game again. I checked the folder the game is usually located in, and everything looks as it should and I was able to launch the game successfully from there.
However, even after reloading the bnet launcher it is still prompting me to install the game. Do I really have to install everything over again or is there a simple fix for this?
Are you able to point the launcher to the existing folder using the launcher settings?
Click the gear icon next to PLAY (or INSTALL in your current case). Then it will open up a menu, choose GAME SETTINGS.

From there, choose the World of Warcraft option to see if you are given an option to USE A DIFFERENT FOLDER.
If that doesn’t help, then click this part on the left of the GAME SETTINGS menu.
DOWNLOADS – then click SCAN FOR GAMES

Thank you for your swift reply! The launcher was able to locate the game via your second solution. I appreciate your help and thank you for including screenshots. ![ ](https://d38bqls1q93fod.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/slight_smile.png?v=9)
