Blizz should get the guy from Blizzcon 2013 to do the launch event for Classic. Would be such good PR.

Edit not the You don’t want to do that guy. The guy who asked the question about legacy servers.

Can we get Blizz to make some special tabards/titles from streamers on launch too? That way they can organize events and stuff more easily on behalf of Blizz.

Announce that the talisman of binding shard necklace can drop from molten core only on the first week! If you want you legendary neck you got to get to molten core!

Whoever the guy was that said “you think you do but you don’t”, blizzard needs to have his head in a giant pike outside the gates of Stormwind and Orgrimmar. Only then will the angry mob of Classic enthusiasts be appeased. :sunglasses:

RIGHT!!! Imagine the dude just coming on stage at blizzcon or something and saying “You don’t want to do that… boy was he wrong…” I would pay for the Blizzcon stream just to see that!

I don’t think anything will appease the masses until the game comes out. The next three months are going to be a trial, filled with bile and contempt until the actual release.

It’s not as much about appeasing the fan-base, but more about going back to their roots. Making it right by the people who play their games. Getting The Dude on stage would definitely make me see Blizz at least making an attempt at that. Instead of just seeing devs who are out of touch announcing stuff, we could have people who actually care!

Alright troll. Do you actually have anything useful to say? If not I’m just going to flag as spam. No one knows who The Dude is, how would that be filling the panel with streamers? You’re also stating a slippery slope argument which is a logical fallacy.

Nah, yeah. Blizz needs to get their PR under wraps. A stunt like that would be good. Like you said, the dude isn’t a streamer. Would be cool to see someone who isn’t already known get a chance to do something cool.

Yep. the dude stood up in front of thousands of people and got crapped on. he deserves some sort of recognition. he started this whole wow classic adventure we’re about to embark on by doing what he did.

you’re right though, after the don’t you guys have phones… lol… blizz needs some sort of hail mary

of course this only matters if the dude actually wants to do it, and if blizz is even doing a launch event. I think an appearance at blizzcon would be more likely, or practical. still would be neat. I can see it now though, blizzcon stage goes dark. the dude walks out. rips off his hoodie. crowd goes wild. female dwarf priests are suddenly pregnant. and then j. allen brack has to come out and shake his hand. and then the dude pulls out a thunderfury, blessed blade of the windseeker, and pwns j. allen brack for 50dkp
