To be fair, it starts at current max level and it is very obviously not intended for new players. On top of that it does have a starter build for new players for both specs.

Ev9kers abilities dontbhave synergy so there is nothing to learn. Press filler until spender is up.youhave 1 filler for aoe and 1 spender for aoe, same as single target. That is it
Cast everything else when it comws off cd no synergy or anything just cast it off cd
I love this community. We have the: “Ohhh nowadays everything is soo easy. Players are treated like babies fully guided in everything. I miss vanilla where you actually had to play the game.”
But we also have the: “Ohhh nooo a lot of skills to read without help ? Tf blizz???”

I see it differently - Seems like they’re just cutting out the middle man and expecting you to go seek out a third-party answer to play the game properly, just like they do with everything else.
Weak Auras/DBM, Raidbots, and Class Discords - Where other people do the heavy lifting so Blizzard’s content functions properly.
Blizzard doesn’t teach you how to play a single one of their classes, and more than a few would be terrible if you tried to figure it out yourself.

I get it, it was a whole lot at once. Especially being tired after a long day and a bit tipsy by the time I was able to log on and get to 60. Once I activated my talents and the action bars suddenly filled up with all those new spells, my brain was instantly overloaded. So I just decided to call it a night and sort it all out today when I’m wide awake and thinking more clearly. 
Would suggest it to anyone else in the same boat! The primalist invasions sound like a good place to get a feel for it before taking on a dungeon.

Sorry but this comment doesnt even make sense. You know people asking for classic and people asking for more than 2 button specs are different people? “The community” is a bunch of different people its not one person contradicting itself. Some people want a class that takes more than 5 minutes to get good at and others want a class that can be played using a guitar hero.

Soars cooldown is kind of irrelevant to the starting zone there are plenty of “soar” back to base platforms that ignore the CD

Read your tool tips, go to a training dummy, and play around a bit. It’s fun to puzzle things out.

Its a 2 button single target spec, do you need more than 2 hours to learn it? Maybe its confusing getting all the talents but its an advanced class for a reason. Prob cause you get dumped with a full empty talent tree after you finish the first 2 hour tutorial
