Wow classic (all versions actually).
After the latest update (Apr 22nd 2025) , WOW tries to start, but it cycles between a black screen and the Mac OS screen (just the menu bar). This continues until the computer is restarted, with a forced reboot. Please help,
I have a mac and my screen is TOTALLY BLACK AS WELL! HELP! need blue advice
Game opens on my mac and flickers between fullscreen and off fullscreen repeatedly, wont let me tab out. Only if I hit apple+H to hide it, I can then force quit
At least I know I’m not the only one experiencing this problem. I made it worse when followed a battle net post: " Options> Game Settings> Reset In-Game Options button under World of Warcraft " . Worse advice, before it was windowed and was easy to close, now it messes up my whole computer, black screen flickers, takes whole desktop, can’t force it to quit, only option is to reboot it.
Same here. This is only an issue on retail for me. I can login normally to the anniversary realm at least.
Every time I load the client it installs an update to both classic and retail… I think that’s just a Mac issue in general. After which it says.
