Blizz to its IT: “Are you free to come in today, a Saturday, to address a DDOS attack?”

I agree. Even if we all assume it’s a DDOS attack, just tell us here. Maybe even a little background info like the DDOS attack is originating in X country? Something would be nice to just acknowledge that we exist.

Thx for that, I’m dying of laughter. <3 Smurffgoat perfect description.

Show presence maybe Blizzard? saying something we working on it and servers will come online in 15 mins?

Mess with the best, die like the rest.

I’m not sure that phrase applies to DDoS script kiddies

they truly are though… they’re are blue and have goat legs

I don’t think they ever post in GD when these attacks happen - it’s always in CS forums which they did about an hour ago and usually on CS Twitter but I haven’t seen any posts on twitter yet.

EDIT: I stand corrected. Kaivax made a post in GD not too long ago. Now OP should be happy. And they have tweeted about it 2xs now in last hour.

It must have been hard enough, I sure didn’t find it. How about a link to this?

Woo, you’d think blizz would realize that their customers are… uhhhh, not the most pleasant of people when they can’t have their fix precisely when they want it. If that really was a rep, they might wanna work on their delivery.

Anypoo, I really didn’t want to vacuum. Thanks assclown child for making me go do housework instead of veg out in front of the computer. We all wish we were as cool as you. Truly told.

It’s right there on the Customer Support forum, where it’s supposed to be. The click-able link is in my quote where it says “Customer Support”.

They did…in other posts. I’m not going to look for it in recent 10 or more posts regarding the attack.

You’d think after 15 years people would know what a DDoS is, and how much Blizzard can actually do on their end.

I ican tell you will never be part of any kind of customer relations or quality. This kind of attitude is why poor customer service exists. Who knows it’s a DDoS attack and that it’s being worked on? Because people post it on the forums? There should be an official confirmation up top, and I wasn’t aware of the server post until someone linked it either. Blizzard should be doing what the players have been doing to get us answers.
