Latency on US servers from Europe

Hi all, does anybody know what latency to expect playing on the US servers from Europe (Denmark) ?

too high to be comfortable is the answer. Also time zones will not be great.

130 - 140 ms , It’s good for me. Not having anny problems.

Seems like NA will need a couple of more servers on release lol.

I personally welcome all EU brothers to play with us :slight_smile:

Thanks. Yes I can live with that. Better than doing battlegrounds in German, French, Portugese etc :slight_smile:

Maybe they can have designated EU servers in the Americas region that are housed in EU datacenters, like Oceanic. :rofl:

If there are any hosted Classic servers on the Chicago datacenter, aim to play on one of those as opposed to the Los Angeles. It’ll likely be a bit better.

Less than 50 ms better. Too bad Blizzard doesn’t have east coast servers like in the old days.

nah the latency isn’t so bad.

As for time zones, us Europeans will just have to roll on an east coast server

I never played WoW EU but I did play on ESO’s EU server for a while. The latency was bad enough that I abandoned my toons there and went back to the US server.

From Iceland, it seems lower than from Canada, so all is not lost

lol. I was replaying to your message but deleted my previous message.

Anyway, I doubt Blizzard will bring back the east coast servers unless subs go up to levels like the old days.
