I’m having issues with high latency tonight (and the last couple night, although tonight is much worse) I have done everything in the troubleshooting article I found to attempt to remedy this, as well as troubleshooting hardware and engaging my ISP Vyve Broadband. (they’re not that useful most of the time) The highest I’ve seen my latency tonight is over 1k. I’m east coast playing on a west coast server, but usually have 60-80ms. It’s hovering around 700 right now, and has progressively gotten worse as the night has gone on. Looks to me like there’s an issue either with Level3 or past Level3… Any ideas?
Home network and your ISP look good. Seems to be an issue with what might be the handoff from the big backbone provider Level3 and Blizzard. Let’s take a look at a Looking Glass see what shows up there.

Cogent is using Level3 to route their traffic from their network to Blizzard’s network. There seems to be a node responding quite slowly inside Level3’s network. This is something you’ll need to contact the ISP about, so they can contact Level3 about the issue. Unfortunately, I don’t believe Level3 works directly with any customers, only other ISPs.
