DPS is still poor
anyone else having any luck… My ilvl is 186
I’m trying to peruse logs to offer advice but there isn’t much to go off.
I’ll use your LFR Hungering Destroyer and go from there
- You have too much crit and not enough haste/mastery
- Rampage is top priority to cast, Condemn is second place. You opened with raging blow. With your spec your opener should be Charge > Recklessness > Siegebreaker > Condemn > Rampage > Dragon Roar > Comdemn or something similar
- Use whirlwind only to fill gcds when everything else is on cooldown. I see some empty gcds in the parse
- Recklessness and Siegebreaker need to be used together. Meaning every third siegebreaker is cast with recklessness
- Enchant weapons, use oils
- Voracity has the same CD as Recklessness when you don’t have anger managment. Cast them together. Can use something like…
#showtooltip
/cast Recklessness
/use Darkmoon Card: Voracity - Always stick to the boss, no matter what. Find ways you can do any mechanic while smacking the boss in the face over and over. Go around the boss with volatile ejection and don’t point it at ranged/overlap it. DPS until the last second and leap out during consume. Space apart and avoid other melee with expunge. Anything and everything you can do to keep dpsing without dying or killing others, do it.
Recklessness before charge. You are then able to immediately Rampage after SB.
Youre not going to see real results till your stats balance out and youre high 190s-200. Thats when you’ll be juiced. One of my guilds warriors is having a similar issue.
I’m curious how you pull this off with Signet.
Do you have a deathmaker leggo that you switch to for raids? I mean, if you reck before charge, don’t you run the risk of bladestorming?
Thanks btw, I’ve learned a lot from your posts here.
I definitely have a Deathmaker. I made it first actually. I just always log out in M+ setup.
You’re also not going to run Siegebreaker with Signet.
With Signet you do indeed always want to enrage before recklessness. If you’re running Fresh Meat, that’s easy, Charge>>>BT>>>Reck. When you’re not running Fresh Meat, it’s a little trickier. Condemn sure makes it a lot easier. It doesn’t really matter on Stone Generals because you’re holding Reck for the 1st add at ~20 seconds into the fight. Huntsman you’ve really got to enrage quickly so you can pop your CDs right away while the mobs are stacked.
Ahh yes. For whatever reason my brain cancels out the rage charge generates.
I need to incorporate this into my own play.
My bad
I did it for an embarrassingly long time before I realized why I couldn’t enrage right away even though everyone said you could. Like…the entire first tier of BFA. That’s why it jumps out at me anytime someone mixes it up now. Unless you remind people about Reck doubling charge’s rage too, everyone’s intuition takes them to, “If I hold reck until I’m in melee range I get an extra second of Recklessness”. Even me!
But charging while bladestorming is the most hilarious looking warrior ability ever…
I also have a Deathmaker I use for raiding and a Signet for M+
Yes, regardless of what anybody has stated so far, fury is still parsing lower than arms which isnt parsing that high.
I honestly believe there is something later on that will push the dps up. Blizzard doesnt usually release a class this far behind intentionally.
just checked warcraftlogs for CN 90 percentile and both warrior specs are in the gutter still lol
Yeah but people here told me they Warriors are fine by spamming completely subjective nonsense and pointless multi-quotes. So I’m not going to trust WCL data or Skyhold.
The nerf to meat cleaver was really odd considering the talent was already never picked.
It leads me to believe something may be coming soon that would warrant it. At the same time I think that’s just wishful thinking
lol.
This has to be a bit.
troll somewhere else
Trust what you want to, those of us on Skyhold actually get to talk to the theory-Crafters from time to time. So I tend to listen to them as they wrote the guides.
That said, I still do a lot of self simcraft to see where and how things will change in various situations. These nit picky things I believe, give a better understanding of how or what will be an upgrade or simply better option. Key words here, for my character. As everyone has mostly different gear at different times.
Katch,
Thanks for the feedback.
Im trying to get gear, to balance out my stats.
Not sure which fight your looking at but I always charge first to gain rage, its a must. And I already have a similar macro…
I play fury, but had to switch to arms because the dps was so bad… I’m a bit rusty playing arms, I know the dps will improve some… but not enough for mythic +
At least arms is fun in torghast .
Yeah i definitely feel like i’m a wet noodle at times. Gotta work twice as hard to do 75% of the damage of people in the middle of the pack
What are you talking about.
Arm and fury dps is quite similar in general, so like swapping wont fix anything. Your bigger issue would be your self play, where you making many mistake and hurting your dps because of it. So get it fix, look guide, check your logs and ask question, just aim at improving yourself.
