This week marks the last LFR try for the neckless “eye of the vengeful hurricane” which is part needed to purchase mount “Iskaara Trader’s Ottuk” the other part is obtained from Terros in the same raid “Vault of incarnets”
I have been trying so hard to get both items and was able to get only Terros neckless recently “Terros’s Captive Core” but not Dathea’s neckless. My last shot at the title is this week before the release of TWW. Otherwise, this final ottuk which I need to complete my ottuk collection will be shelved until 3 to 4 years from now.
I came back to wow last summer which was well after Vault of incarnates became out of date and almost nobody would run it anymore. I tried to do LFR Dathea and Terros at that time to get both necklaces but due to lack of players doing the raid it was taking me around 4 hours to queue up and defeat both bosses. So, I stopped doing that since I don’t have that much time to waste on obsolete raid.
Then Awakened raids came back and it was a lot easier to queue up for the raid. Like I said I got Terros neck but not Dathea. No matter how hard I try I keep losing the roll. If I don’t get it this week, there is no way I’m getting the mount anytime soon. I’ll try again at the end of TWW and the release of the future expansion. I only hope that such items needed for mounts are NEVER tied to raid bosses like this again.
