What’s the best way to use this legendary? Do you use it with Storm, Earth, and Fire? Do you save it for when you reach max stacks?
As far as I know it’s pretty similar to how we used it in legion. 16+ stacks, don’t delay abilities or overcap, and clip at the end of SEF for extra damage when you can
I have not raided with my monk yet so I didn’t use it in legion. By clip at the end of SEF you mean wait until the end for SEF to cast it to extend the benefit of SEF?
You’ll get a pretty sizable tick of damage when SEF despawns while channeling so iirc the last second or two I would start channeling
I did a write up explaining the opener with SEF+CJL so I’ll link it if I can find it but I think it’s been moved to archived forums
Just a question guys and gals. Does the stack on this also applies to the damage or only on the energy reduction? Thanks
it will depend on your haste, but you otherwise right
Its both if it’s like legion
This will be nice if it also stacks damage since that is one of my fav monk ability but rarely used except for pulling mobs since the damage is sooo minuscule lol. Now can be part of rotation haha
Yes! Very happy this is back. Wish it was baseline. . .
I would prefer talent, rjw baseline (so windwalkers can have a baseline wind attack)
Then you could do dance of chi for aoe, this for st, and then a different talent good for both (maybe move spiritual focus so it could combine with serenity, added bonus then could add something else there like Chi explosion so you could choose between 3 different rotation styles.
It’s funny because I am waiting to see how close to this Jade ignition is. If the damage is close I can do without the extra button.
If we’re talking baseline, the more the merrier. But for preference, I think I like your idea more! Windwalker should have more wind attacks.
yes for rjw.
I miss bfa s1 rjw, was too fun could have made us value haste more to have it on all the time…
