I’ve been noticing a problem lately in 2 v 2 arena. People are immune to Lasso even though they haven’t been stunned yet. This isn’t a precog issue because I’ve noticed it on non-casters, too. Lasso used to be very dependable, but lately I’ve been getting a lot of “immune.” Anyone else notice this? Is there something I’m missing or should be aware of?
I’ve noticed this as well. It makes the talent highly unreliable. I understand that there are some abilities that make you immune to CCs. But these are not widespread. I usually have to forgo lasso as an option because of its unpredictable use. A shame, really.
Yeah, I find evokers are one of those immune classes. Those abilities REALLY should not exist at all, but I’ve hit with lasso and it just goes straight to CD. No whirlwind or cyclone to bounce it, nothing I can think of except it doesn’t register or I see them flagged as immune with no real explanation. It’s baffling.
I’ve leveled every class to max and this is one of the few spells where you genuinely put the question, “what was that?”
For context, I can hit them with a hex shortly after because my brain starts to itch and I start wondering.
Yeah, I’ve had priests immune, and it wasn’t fade or precog. I’ve had hunters immune. Warriors, rogues, other shamans, monks, DKs… and no, in each instance I wouldn’t be complaining if they were using AMS or cloak or whatever. I’m an experienced player; I know what defensives are. I think I might drop lasso next season if this problem continues.
Thanks for the replies. I’m glad it’s not just me.
It’s been rather inconsistent in my experience too. Not sure why it randomly just breaks/stops for no apparent game mechanic reason.
