Largest 2handers that still drop

Not a drop but some of the warrior artifact weapons are very large 2-handers.

Deaths Bite axe. Believe its a drop in Naxx.

These two were pretty large.

I’m partial to this mace for big 2-handers

I’m still confused why they inexplicably flipped Zin’rokh upside down. At least Jin’rokh stayed normal, though it’s no longer obtainable. You can, however, get the Vengeful Gladiator’s Greatsword from the goblins in Area 52 in the Netherstorm zone, and it, too, retains the original and correct orientation.

There’s Ashkandi https://classic.wowhead.com/item=19364/ashkandi-greatsword-of-the-brotherhood which drops from Nefarian in Blackwing Lair. It has an updated model Reclaimed Ashkandi Greatsword of the Brotherhood https://www.wowhead.com/item=63679/reclaimed-ashkandi-greatsword-of-the-brotherhood which is dropped by Nefarian in Blackwing Descent.

Untamed Blade https://classic.wowhead.com/item=19334/the-untamed-blade drops off of Razorgore the Untamed (first boss in Blackwing Lair.

Armageddon https://www.wowhead.com/item=40343/armageddon drops from Gluth and the Four Horsemen in Naxxramas and has a recolor in Maldraxxus called Sorrowbane https://www.wowhead.com/achievement=14626/harvester-of-sorrow#comments

Keen Obsidian Edged Blade https://www.wowhead.com/item=49299/keen-obsidian-edged-blade#comments looks a lot like Inuyasha’s Tessaiga (it’s not nearly as big as you may like it) can be dropped by Onyxia on 10-man difficulty.

If you’re patient, you could farm up Troll archaeology and make a Zin’rokh, Destroyer of Worlds https://www.wowhead.com/item=64377/zinrokh-destroyer-of-worlds but it takes just as much luck, as it does patience, to make this 2h sword.

There’s also the Lionheart Executioner https://www.wowhead.com/item=94592/lionheart-executioner-reborn that blacksmiths in Pandaria can craft up. Check the auction house for this bad boy but remember that it takes 30 days to craft, so it’ll hit you pretty hard in the gold.

Plundered Blade of Northern Kings https://www.wowhead.com/item=164334/plundered-blade-of-northern-kings comes out of Island Expeditions for the super lucky and drops on Auction House for the less lucky.

Coral Sharpened Greatsword https://www.wowhead.com/item=170124/coral-sharpened-greatsword?bonus=4802 has a lot of length but not a lot of girth. You can get it from Spawn of Salgos in Nazjatar.

Finally, there’s Jaithys the Prison Blade https://www.wowhead.com/item=187542/jaithys-the-prison-blade?bonus=6805 that’s dropped in the Sanctum of Domination by Kel’thuzad on every difficulty, so pick a color and get your sword.

Hope you find a sword that fits for you!

Durg’s is my favorite weapon. Nothing else really compares to beating the crap out of a people in BG’s with an uprooted tree.

I love the aesthetics of this one. My warrior dual wields this, because the only thing more ridiculously Orc than carrying a sword the size of a Blood Elf …

… is carrying a matching pair of swords the size of Blood Elves!

Armageddon
Untamed Blade
Ashkandi, Greatsword of the Brotherhood (from the original raid, not the Cataclysm one)

As a side note, the biggest 1H weapons can include things such as the Krol Blade and Quel’Serrar…

Armageddon from Naxx and Ashkandi from BWL come to mind immediately. Took me months to get Ashkandi to drop.

Damn, thats amazing looking. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Best part is, you can get it in the Auction House.

Which rare, or weapon is this? I haven’t even heard of it. Guess this is what I get for being uber leet and never dying.

That’s right… Forgot to mention this but there’s a spot where its great to die at (Literally) that’s at the southern entrance of the Loyalty area (The spot with all the elites). You’ll know for certain you’re in the area if you have a debuff that something is “watching” you. That is the indicator to die, it’ll put you back at the typical graveyard/monolith. There’s a little pond that’s occupied by some cranes, that’s where this Spirit Healer in form of a Forsworn who will challenge you. You accept the challenge, fight it, and promptly brought back to life upon defeating her. The sword has a bit of a Silver-hand Theme to it due to the symbol it has. THere’s two but this is one of them.

My concerns is it took me forever to get but the second I went Kyrian, it dropped. I’ve checked Wowhead to see what happened but people seemed to need it to drop as Kyrian or it won’t happen. You can try your luck if you’re not Kyrian because I have no clue honestly but the weapon is easy but tedious to earn.

Edit: The weapon is called Death Warden’s Greatblade.

Yup. If you click on the “classic” link in Wowhead, it’ll show pictures and will also show how it was originally held if you click “view in 3D”. It’s still held correctly in WoW classic/TBC servers, heh.

Geebus, that is dumb! LOL

Agreed. It was one of the very few very unique weapons, due to how exotic it looked. By swapping the direction the blade goes, it both makes it look weirder and less cool. But someone at Blizzard had to have decided to do it. I just wish I knew why.
