A question for this of you playing on laptops - what size screen do you use? Are you playing on the built-in screen (and if so, what size), or are you using an external monitor (and if so, what size)?
Just idle curiosity. I may be upgrading my system yet again, and am just curious. And bored.
I don’t play on a laptop anymore but when I did it was 17 inch.

For Home play the gaming laptop is running on monitors.
At work I jsut use my screen as is. I don’t need to tweak it much. Lunch is usually dailies and such so I dont need to be visually impressed.
15 inch laptop in my case. Effective enough yet light to lug around. It can be that, my camera gear if I need to move then work on my RAW files away from home.
Hell I just got moved into the modern era with a carbon fiber monopod. 2 lbs lighter…worth it shooting long as hell sports meets for hours.

15’ diagonal so I guess 15 it is. I’m used to smaller laptops so fine for me. I compensate screen size by making all the actions bars etc. 90% scale in Edit Mode. The screen feels quite adequate after doing that.
Eta its not a gaming labtop its a Dell but has a good size processor and decent graphics card, specs I asked for when buying it. Never had a problem in a year. Conversely the game burned my Samsung right tf out and it still sits with a broken keyboard on my desk.

With the way they’ve enhanced the swirlies on the ground it might be easier to play on a 15 inch monitor now. Back in the day it was hard to see what to get out of on a small screen

I don’t play on my laptop much anymore, but like 3 years back I exclusively did.
I always got the biggest screen I could, I think it was 17”3 screen like others are saying. Made it a little difficult to fit in my satchel bag but it was worth it for me.

I can’t play WoW on my 17" laptop, I guess my eyes are just too terrible for it. I can barely read anything on screen. I hate getting older and my 60" TV has spoiled me.

I used to play on a 15” screen, even timed my first 20 in an RV during a family vacation a few years ago on it lol. Now I have this crazy curved monstrosity of a screen, I don’t even know the size. I have to turn my head to see things on each side which is nuts. I know my husband secretly wishes he had got it for himself when he sees me playing on it lol.
