Hello all, I currently travel for work 9 days on 5 days off. When I’m at home I play on my desktop and its a 27" monitor 144hz but when I’m at work I play on my laptop which is 15.6" 60hz
So comparatively playing on my laptop feels very squished and not as crisp the difference of playing at home I can do Mythic+ but at work it just feels way to off.
If I were to buy a 60hz monitor 24" and just brought it to work would that solve most of my issue? Has anyone done this before played games on external monitor from their laptop?
Should have no problems. My friend would basically keep his laptop plugged into his tv 24/7.

An external monitor will give you a bigger display but it isn’t going to solve any performance issues. You’ll still be using the same laptop GPU, and if the resolution of the monitor is significantly higher than the laptop display it may perform worse, requiring you to dial down the graphics settings to maintain a decent frame rate. You might want to try connecting your current desktop monitor & set WOW to cap its frame rate at 60 fps just to see how well the laptop handles it - that will give you an idea of whether you’ll be happy with the result.
