Blizzard uses Google datacenters, and they have no reported outages. I also would not label them “supbar” — they’re a top pick across the industry. Other games you play are likely hosted in those datacenters as well.
Appreciate the response, however - I will absolutely call them subpar. Until these lag issues are addressed and/or fixed, they will be labeled subpar.
Whether it be a numbers bloat where the servers cannot calculate at an optimum speed or something else, whatever it may be. Players pay their $15 monthly fee and do NOT deserve laggy gameplay, or you can say, lack of gameplay with the 2-3 second delays.
I only ask because Secret Hunters have been in the area in force searching for clues in and around Karazhan, across the service there probably has been a real bad increase in traffic in Deadwind due to the search for the secret of the Incognitro.
Not sure, when I was there early in the day fishing it was still fairly poor. I get it may be busy there but surely for a game like this with presumably its substantial server infrastructure, they could handle an inflex of players to any area.
