Hello I recently built a new computer and while most of the time everything runs good. In raids I get little hitches. Most of the time it is just a little hitch but sometimes it almost freezes for 2-3 seconds. Whenever this happens the disk usage spikes and the cpu usage goes down. The larger spike disk usage goes to 100% and the cpu goes to almost zero. It never crashes. I have been trying to usage task manager to “catch” the program that is causing this, but it just happens to fast, and I haven’t been able to see what it is. I have no WHEA errors showing and nothing is in the reliability monitor.
I am wondering if there is some sort of program that I can run in the background that will record this type of data. I can note the time and go and look at the recorded data.
I have tried many of the suggestions in the FAQ and have done a lot of googling. Running stock, resetting UI, reinstalling, drivers. Right now, I have created a new windows user but am in the process of running a raid to see if it is fixed so maybe that’s it but I would really like some sort of monitoring tool that can note the time it happens and look through some sort of report.
EDIT for I forgot to mention it “seems” to be worst in Kazzara and Amalgamation diring specific mechanics.
