OMG There are no tanks on my server. I’ve been looking for a strathholme group for 3 days now. Imagine if you opened the dungeon finder on retail and had a 72 hour queue, that is me right now! Classic needs a dungeon finder it will fail nobody is going to sit around all day waiting for a tank to show up. I basically cant play my rogue anymore because the only thing I have left to do is get gear from dungeons and raids but there is nobody to play with!

It seems like the vast majority of players are in no rush. This is why I’m leveling 4 characters in a rotation. I’m confident that Hitting 60 too fast will just leave me hanging out and doing professions.

Warriors are also the slowest levelers.

How about you cool your heels and lvl an alt. We tanks are leveling as fast as we can but since we have to sacrifice our DPS to tank its slow going.

Sorry you didn’t make any tank friends leveling up or have tanks in your guild. If a tank wants to do a dungeon, the first thing they do is ask their friends and/or in guild chat. Only then will they go to LFG or general chat. Personally, I’ve tanked several PUGs in all dungeons up to SM, and sometimes the incompetence of the DPS is astounding. Not trying to CC, opening up DPS before even a single sunder lands, all focusing different targets, poking their low-level head around corners while I’m trying to pull, aggroing a bunch of mobs, etc etc etc. PUGing is a last resort, at the very least until ya’ll learn how to play in vanilla dungeons. Keep back, focus a single target, and wait a few seconds to start DPS.

It had one, the addon ClassicLFG. However, so many people on these forums whined to Blizzard and harassed the author that functionality was broken and the author abandoned it.
So you can thank the whiners for how difficult it can be to form groups. Despite the fact that Vanilla had a LFG addon we now don’t have one.

we should have more tanks this time around since the stigma regarding druid tanking is pretty much gone, but the warriors and druids simply do not want to tank. they want dps spots, or to be left alone.
not much we can do about that. while tanks will be in HIGH demand for 5 man dungeons, those that choose to main tank will have a really hard time finding raid spots because you really didn’t bring many tanks to a 40 man.
Tanks by default are going to be the least available role. You rushed like a lightning bolt to 60. Is their any connection that you can see???

Exactly. With how most of the dps acts none of my tank friends care to help anyone outside of our group, and neither to many of the healers.

Yes I level fast, but I’m far from the fastest. There are many healers and dpsers at max already, but very few tanks. Every high level on my server is complaining about the lack of tanks in the LFG chat channel. I’ve leveled fast in every expansion since the dungeon finder was available and never had this issue before, the longest queues i remember being around 45-60min. I’ve been looking for a group for 72 hours and still cannot find one.
