Lack of (proper) indicators and tracking for DF open-world events

We have several events and there’s a big issue in tracking most of them.

Primal Storms

  • The icons aren’t always shown on the map. The only reliable way to see which event is where is through the flight map
  • It’s impossible to see when the next storms will be up
  • There’s no way to track the weekly completion for the quests
  • There’s no way to see when a boss is going to spawn

The Hunt

  • Works most of the times, but sometimes it gives me this where it’s not shown on the map once I open the zone

Siege on Dragonbane Keep

  • Shown in the adventure guide, but not when it is
  • The horn is not shown on the map unless it’s close to activating, and even then it’s a 50/50 whether or not its actually shown
  • The horn for defense shows I can get loot but I’ve never been able to do anything for defense, does that event even exist?

Community Soup

  • Often not shown on the map for me. I just started a dungeon, nothing. I finished my dungeon after 32 minutes “event is over 48m remaining to drink the soup”, meaning that even 20 minutes in advance I couldn’t see the cooking even on the map.

We need some way of tracking the events in-game without the need of addons. If Wowhead and addons can do it, so can the game. It’s quite annoying that this even needs to be said.

I LOVE me some soup event but also hate that not only does it have an icon but they really thought not to put a time display ON the icon?

I hate telling people who are looking for the next soup event to go to wowhead. Def needs to change to show the time

Yea I agree, I do find it hard to tell where the hunts are sometimes as I cant find the horn on the zone map!

I think each event should have its own Icon as well rather then just all being a Horn

And yea, I have to use WoWhead to track when the events are coming up, It would be nice if they had a timer appear when they are close (instead of having to hover over it)

Just to touch on this:

Is there a reason level 60 alts can be given the quest “Aiding the According: Dragonbane Keep” - which requires completing Siege of Dragonbane Keep…

…but the Siege doesn’t scale down to level 60?

This is my level 60 Druid. I completed it in a group and died many times because all of the mobs were level 70. The named mobs required for the Steps during the Assault were Skull Leveled.

Can we please get the Siege to scale between 60-70 based on your level, or remove the Siege on Dragonbane as a possible Aiding the Accord quest for alts until they hit 70?

The latter is because you’re in Valdrakken, which is considered a different zone than Taldraszus, so you won’t see the Hunt indicator for Thaldraszus inside Valdrakken, which is silly.

Just to bring this point up once more, every single one of my alts had Dragonbane Keep this week - I assume you guys have switched to a system so everyone server/region wide gets the same Aiding the Accord quest now.

However, the issue persists.

Here’s proof for those who doubt. Wyrmeater is one of the “named” mobs you need to kill during Siege of Dragonbane. He is skull level to my level 62 Warlock. (He’s level 72). He does not scale at all. None of the enemies in the Keep scale, despite the quest being offered as low as level 60. They are always 70-72, which as you can imagine, does not end well, especially on dead servers where you won’t have random people to help you.

It’s not as bad on some classes, but others, like my warrior, it was horrible and she died like 3 times from AoE that one shot me.
