This is getting really old. I’ve now run 18 keys and got one drop. Thankfully a Guildie traded me something. It was never like this in SLs. I’m not looking for handouts but I’m running keys like crazy. Even a 2 plus is dropping one piece for the whole group.

I’m skeptical of this claim. Are you sure only one piece dropped…or did only 1 person loot while in the group?

I think the OP meant to say they only got 1 piece they wanted, otherwise I’d like to see proof they went 18 keys without getting an item.

It’s also possible that someone didn’t loot the box. They may have forgotten or they don’t loot in groups so they’re letting the postmaster get it to them.
But yes in theory there should be two (or more, if 15(20?)+) drops in every single key you run.
It’s kinda an obvious sign to run less. Just saying.
Whenever anyone says they went an insane amount of runs with zero loot whatsoever, I have to hit X to doubt.
(Although valor gear vendors should make a comeback tbh)

I have only run three so far but all of those runs gave out at least 2 pieces of loot.
About to start doing Mythics. Haven’t geared in normals or heriocs-- there was only one drop for me the entire time and it was bracers a couple ilvls up.
This is simply not true. 15 and below always drops 2 pieces of gear. over 15 has a chance to drop 3 pieces of gear. timing the key gives all pieces the highest item level for that key level, else only one item will be of the key-levels item level.
Between the difficulty for pugs and lack of drops its pretty obvious they are really trying to get people out of m+ as a gearing method. So maybe try raiding or crafting they really want to push crafting this expansion so thats probably going to be your best bet.
I ran 4 and got nothing so far.

I think that this is one person either seeing their loot and not grabbing it or just leaving so it gets mailed to them to avoid awkwardly telling people that they’d like to keep it.

It’s rng and it’s also week 1 of M+. GD has always complain about loot drop on week 1 for every single tier. Be patient it’ll start raining loot soon that you’re next complain is you can’t get your BiS gear because rng and just keep getting cloak. Also you have got 3 loot it seem and only done 14 keys
i got 19 keys ran so far total.
got 1 upgrade naturally (weapon) and 1 that was given to me (belt)
lets just say i dont feel lucky 
19 runs only 2 upgrades, so early in the xpack. kinda weird but w/e.
would be so nice without valor cap sigh
2 pieces always drop guaranteed, you not getting one is rng, not “loot not dropping”
