Why is there no holy paladin weapon in the new raid? There’s like 3 different staves the other healing classes can use and theres nothing really other than a lowly int mace. Kinda sucks tbh.
Because Verigans Fist exists 7 stam, 6 int, 12 spirit 2hander

If they added 1handed healing maces, nobody would wear the staves and it would create issues over the offhand
If they added a healing sword, it would be a dead item unless a holy paladin was there.
Play ret or prot like you are supposed to in SoD.

Your argument doesnt really make sense considering that in every raid they make, they have healing maces, staves, caster shields and caster non-shield offhands

Because sod is rushed content that no one thought through and they are calling it an “experiment” to avoid scrutiny

Mages could use a caster-oriented sword as well

Lol who cares, there are no relevant holy runes except those gated behind rep, but by the time I grind that id be 60 anyway, so were basically just leveling to 60 over and over in SOD…boring as chit.
except the loot table is balanced around Verigans Fist.
A healing 2h mace would be pretty cool and desirable by both druids and holy paladins 
Also, Verigan’s Fist would be fine if they buffed it with some +healing I suppose. As is I’m not sure if it compares to the staves, though the ones I saw didn’t have intel and the value of +heal at low level isn’t as high.

if you have +20 healing. A healing spell is not healing for 20 more, depending on the coefficient, which most are not the same, hots have the worst btw.
Take Heal for example,it uses 85% coefficient. It heals for 17 more. 17 more health on a spell that heals for 450-500 is not much.
hots have a 100% coefficient, just spread across the entire duration.
flash of light is a 35 mana, 80 hp heal with 40% coefficient. +heal on it is insane for mana efficiency

How much new healing mail have you seen? Do you expect to see dungeon/leveling raid healing plate?
I have no confidence this is being or even will be addressed. Paladin fixes are all about Ret and Prot. Holy Paladin will still be wearing a mix of garbage gear, same for Resto Sham.
I know all coefficients, its 43% btw

It doesn’t have bonus healing. But hey badly stated items are a thing here in classic.
