It surprises me that with such powerful tools to edit our UIs, being able to import custom textures/animations and the like, that basically all WoW custom UIs are just spartan icons, colors and numbers with 0 thought to making something look interesting or appealing.
I started working on my own ui again and realized just how powerful the tools really are. You could recreate the default blizz ui or something even better. So its a bit odd there isnt a sizeable portion of people doing so.
Idk just a shower thought i suppose. Do any of you have/know of aesthetically minded custom ui packages

Sounds like work.
I’m glad these tools exist. I’ll stick with the default UI (for the most part).

Could just be people not invested in making one.
As for recommendations I used to use toxiui + dark mode. Looked a lot more clean to me.
People who really want to tinker aren’t gonna be satisfied with the default tools.
There are a ton of great ideas on Google: “best wow custom ui.” Be sure to click the “images” tab. There is also a dedicated /WowUI reddit.
It’s pretty common for players to make custom UI. I personally like the more minimalist style. I even saw one that looked like the old-school Diablo games.
Most are minimalist or focus on doing things efficiently, like you said spartan. But I’ve seem some pretty ones too with a lot of custom textures. The first one that comes to mind is ironically SpartanUI.
