I want wings like the kyrian get I do not care if it is a super long quest I want the wings!! we have flying time to give us wings not a mount. let the wings be a armor thing or what ever but GIVE US WINGS PLEASE!!!

Odeargodno. This isn’t some anime style game. We don’t need to be flying around on wings. That has never been an aesthetic of WoW. Cooldowns? Okay. Toys? Sure. Not mounts, please. This game doesn’t need to go that direction.

Who knows, we’ll have to see where they go with it. I found the concept of flying around in Mechagon using anti-gravity pack pretty enjoyable so even if they have something like that I’d be pretty pumped.
(Wouldn’t need to be exclusively Kyrian)

Well with the back attachments that come with the covenant armor, you may get very well get wings. There’s even a section in one the articles that say they rival Kyrian wings.
Under Kyrian covenant spoils.
No Kyrian wings for you. Kyrian wings are only given to high tier Kyrians.

Something just struck me, do cloaks disappear on demon hunters or would the winged cloaks create another set of wings when they float?

We’ve had faeries and faerie dragons forever. That signifies a fantasy game. Foxes also signify fantasy. Or do we need to revisit all of the fantasy books from our childhood?

You forgot about Tauren and Draenei. Don’t worry, it’s easy to do.

and I probably forgot another dozen. Animal people is about all Blizzard does these days.

I don’t really think wings = anime even if those games have done it already. Wings that actually let us fly instead of just being cosmetic would be pretty neat, in my opinion, even if they only work in the Shadowlands.

It has though. There are several examples of creatures using wings to fly. Val’kyr and Illidan for example. It makes perfect sense for wings to become a mount similar to Flight Form for druids.

We aren’t dead spirits and Illidan can only “fly” for short periods of time. And we are also not him.
It doesn’t make perfect sense to me for our characters to suddenly sprout wings. Cooldowns of ethereal looking wings, sure. Toys for cosmetics, sure. But not our characters suddenly sprouting wings to fly around. I am not keen on that.
Would you be ok with the mechagon jet pack being made into a mount?
