Kyrian tanks, do you use the “automatic potion at 35%” soulbind and do you like it?

So I have some characters that have the bind to activate your Kyrian vial once you hit 35% but obviously still have it keyed to use manually.

Now I’m wondering if anyone just totally doesn’t have it on their bar and keys, if so do you like not having to think about it?

I hate it.

The issue is you have to give up a potency slot to not take it, and realistically you’re not taking the 2nd potency slot because the power on that fork is useless in PvE (and honestly just in general), meaning if you avoid the auto-potion you only get 1 potency slot.

A potion that cleanses debuffs (including bleeds) is too useful to let autopop at relatively low health when I have other options when I’m in danger. But I have to choose that power because it’s a waste not to.

Ok so I’m glad I wasn’t totally off in my thinking. It was weird seeing my tanks have that selected but realizing I have never let it actually take effect at least thay I can remember.

I’m sure I’ve gone 80-20 in one bit or something before and it triggered

About sums up my feelings. It’s a total troll but you’re forced into it.

I mean, that whole Mikanikos thing is a troll. John Cena, I mean Bron, showing up randomly and knocking mobs around, aggro’ing extra stuff, getting you caught while invis’ing… but its too good not to take.

Mikanikos/Bron is good for aoe stuff for most classes. Pelagos is a decent pick if you don’t want to deal with Bron randomly pulling stuff.

/thread.

Forced to take it on my M+ builds.

lmao.

I feel so bad when the tank does a great job rounding up the pull into a nice pile and Bron comes and BOOM! I feel like that elemental shaman everyone would yell at.

I always forget to check, anyone know roughly what % of your dps bron does?

I know for certain affixes people use a cancel aura macro in their rotation to make sure it never activates

Auto anything is bad design and i wish they hadn’t brought a ton of it back with soulbinds

Auto bubble gets removed but auto stuns/fear/roots/potions/walls make a come back

Im actually going to check my logs after my next decent M+ run and see what kind of dps and heals he does?

Most likely not worth the risk of a bad knockback, and the chance of him knocking someone at the right time to interrupt a spell is so small

The kyrian soulbinds are the worst. Pelagos and Mikanos are just annoying and Kleia’s powers are trash. Most of my hunters are necro because of it.

In general, any time something takes up a slot just for automation, it is worthless.

Nope. I switched to Bron from Pelagos at the start of 9.2 and one of the first things I did was switch to the other path on his tree. I don’t care what conduit I’m losing out on. I don’t want my potion getting activated on its own.

The other side is finesse though right? Or is it endurance because that I would tolerate

It’s actually Bron Cena

My Kyrian hunter and paladin use that one.

Only one of those is a tank but both keep it on the bar to use as well.

It’s an endurance conduit. The power on that path makes your potion do a small knockback when activated. It adds up to a total of 3 endurance, 2 potency, and 1 finesse.

When I run kyrain I just have it set too auto. Too me it’s not gonna make or break the key if it’s automatic or not.
Atleast it won’t be the main cause of why the key fails anyway, better too use it then too accidently die before pressing it.

It’s really bad, because then you cannot control when you use it. The whole point of a potion is for YOU to decide the best time. That is assuming you do M+ or raiding.

It’s useful on necrotic weeks I think
