I’ve been thinking about pulling the trigger on upgrading a leggo to the max. My gold supply is telling me I can only really afford 1. Since I’m kyrian I’ve been tooling around with the Kyrian leggo.
I normally run as prot, and sometimes swap to ret depending who logs on for raid night. So my question is.
Is the kyrian leggo “good enough” for both ret and prot for both M+and raid, as a good all arounder?
What kind of keys are you running? It’s “good enough”, but not worth it if you already have Bulwark.
I have bulwark. But as the max of last season. I shelved my pally at the end of 9.05 and have been playing this hunter since.
Been feelin the ole tanking itch, and one of our guild tanks for raid night is leavin. Right now the most he can do is +10s, 15s are the goal.
The 226 is good enough for keys even beyond 15s. The legendary “effect” stays the same regardless of ilvl/rank, so you are only gaining stats. Yeah, stats are nice, but 226 lego is fine for now if you need something specifically for ret.
I can confirm this. Mine is 225 as I am MS holy on my paladin. I am venthyr as a result which honest feels terrible missing out on DT as prot OS but even so, can’t say no to Bulwark. 225 works just fine
Yeah, don’t fall into the mindset that the legendary needs to be max level. I keep mine in line with my current gear level on whatever character so its not bringing it down. That being said, I’m still running a 190 Flash Concentration on my 220 Holy priest. Sure, the stats would be nice, but the real benefit is the effect. I’d rather have a slew of 190s and 210s that I can play around with and adjust than 1 262.
People use the kyrian leggo for extra interrupts in high keys as prot.
For ret you want final verdict.
Not really. Almost all Protection Paladins are still using Bulwark lego. In the top 10, 1 of them is using the Kyrian lego. We have enough interrupts as it is and then you have the group’s interrupts on top of it.
I just started using sephuz for ret and I’m loving it.
When I can finally get a valinor kill I’ll switch to final verdict.

Final verdict is defo better for ret, so get it ASAP my friend!. I hate that legendary r locked behind world bosses on a weekly rotation, same with Torgahst.
false Final Verdict is not bis. Divine resonance is bis for ret. DR is also decent for prot. its not prot bis but its still strong for prot
Andybrew is playing it doing world first keys, not to say it’s the best but it’s definitely good for prot.
His reasoning is that it’s both offensive and defensive (with first avenger talent) and he can lock a caster pack down
Most people that say final verdict is BIS are referring to pvp.
Because DR doesn’t work in pvp.
But, honestly who doesn’t love those 40k final verdicts lol
