This little javelin should not pull me back 25 yards after I’ve shadow stepped out of it
It should only grab stuff inside the radius of the ability.

Pulling you back after you leave the radius is the entire point of the ability.

What do you think the spear does?
It’s not a root. It tethers you to the location, so that if you leave the circle in the next 4 seconds, you get yanked back. That’s what it does. If it didn’t yank you back, what would it even do?
