It took 2 weeks for me to unlock Ztrolls. When I came back in 8.1.5 after being gone all 8.1. 4 weeks for KT humans. I finally unlock them and customisation is… limited. No tattoo options for the sailor race? And I only play female characters and that casting… it’s not my least favourite but it’s low down on the totem pole. And all the classes I was thinking of making one (Priest being up there) are casters. Like what’s with that???

Most of the animations are fine and I like that they’re the only ones with a seemingly unique skeleton? (If it’s based off another one it’s been HEAVILY modified because I don’t recognise it) But the casting… it’s just impossible eh. Like why would I pay $30 to make my priest a KT human (currently undead).

I’ve been thinking of changing my priest for awhile cuz I hate how undead models override gear and it makes tmog suck. So I’m like ok I’ll wait for KT humans cuz they’re crazy old god worshippers (some of them) but that casting is just bad. Also I only like 2 of the hair styles. No shaved/bald option for female. What’s with the necklace and earing options? that’s awkward. I’d rather scars/tattoos be separate options cause that fits their culture.

I doubt they’ll fix them now that they’re already released. I really wish they would give a once over and some of the allied races. Nightborn could really use it. As well as KT humans.

I love KT human culture. I love how they don’t worship the silly light but they’re about the endless abyss of the sea, and they’re bad— sailors. They’re tough! But honestly they’re kinda pitiful compared to Ztrolls? I believe they have some of the lowest customisation options along with HM tauren.

I just don’t know what to do. Been spending 90% of my playtime on WoW for the last 4 weeks working on unlocking them and I’m… disapointed… Maybe I’ll RC my warrior? But warrior is literally my least played class.

Edit: Also why can’t they be warlocks? That doesn’t make sense. Some of them have no problem delving head first into the void but oh no demonology, fel, and shadow is too much for them? Wut?

Mmm nope not the casting not even close.

The female pandaren casting is like all over the place while the female kt humans is more contained. KT human female kinda looks like male panda but if you actually examine it the hand movemenets are quite a bit different. The only similarities is that they’re both contained versus out there movements.

They said they have a unique skeleton… which they don’t… their skeleton is a modified version of the Pandaren skeleton. I wasn’t talking about the animations in my reply.

Don’t forget that KT males are missing animations. They have no special animation for both Stormstrike and execute. its just the auto attack animation.

I don’t really see it. The walking running, auto attack, casting, just about everything is different. But maybe. /shrug.

I mean, it could be, but the skeleton and rigs have so many modifications that they appear like something brand new… Sadly this apparently is compensated with limited customization options.

But hey, I’d still take something like this than Void Elf treatment which is basically just skin color and new hair models.
