Kul Tirans on the Chonky end

Now I have no problem with fat people but kul Tiran size makes no sense with most kul Tiran npc being normal human sized.

The length of your arms in proportion to your body make you look like the purple troll knock off that you are

Nope. It doesn’t. And they’re taller than Nelfs. For no apparent reason other than Blizz wanting different sized humans.

They should’ve just not wiped out the Drust and given us them instead.

Stop trying to introduce logic into a fantasy game. Enjoy it for what it is, good lawd.

Personally I feed like my kul Tiran could be chonkier. I want to look like lady ashvane

Drust wickermen race would have been much better.

With the pirate theme and all I had hoped there would be a Kul Tiran Sloth NPC (Goonies)

Seconded. I have no problem with fat people (plus a pill once made me fat and I’m still 30lbs over my original weight) but obesity is a disease and doesn’t really belong in a fantasy game.

As someone who struggles with their weight still, I don’t want to be reminded of that. That’s what hyper stout races like dwarf are for, they are fantasy’s version of fat, actually solid muscle.

Also, I know so many women who look like the Kul-Tirans IRL who are so depressing to look at and to talk to so maybe there’s a bit of bias. These people don’t care or are neurotic about their weight, and almost always depressed.

A neurotic overweight depressed human doesn’t sound like anyone’s fantasy. It just sounds a bit, like, me IRL actually. :no_mouth:

We can’t forget, if they were so proud of those models they’d be showing them everwhere, but we don’t see that. The only notable Kul-Tiran who might almost have that body type is Lady Ashvane. After she transforms, she’s definitely got it. Ba-dum-ching!

Just saying they are so bland and unappealing (really just a worse human in every way, speaking for the women anyway I don’t play human males, so I’ll even give a point and say as ridiculous as the male Kul-Tiran looks it’s better than ol’ Popeye McGee from Stormwind. I really love their druid forms but they don’t really match up with them, with some scale tweaks they’d have looked great on a more exotic race like Arakkoa.

Kinda sorta on topic. I watched the mechagnome recruitment questline and there are 3 tidesages casting onto mekka. None of them are the allied race KT model. I don’t get this? Almost every single KT human used for cutscenes etc., are the stormwind human model. Bugs the heck out of me that there is little to no representation for our chonky brothers and sisters.

This. Also, I was hoping the thin model would be playable with the large ones. Or large models + regular humans but with unique hair, skin color (like Gilnean humans), etc.

Death is pretty depressing RL yet we have the undead and are headed to a whole zone full of it. Not to dismiss you or anything but this certainly reads more like an issue of personal baggage than what does or does not belong in a fantasy game.

There could be someone who’s always been small and tiny and they’re living out a fantasy of being a giant and it’s the best thing ever.

them being fat is whatever, but why are they all nba players?

I like looking like a mountainous powerlifter that can Superman punch people into next week. And saying “I have nothing against fat people” is basically saying " I don’t like the KTs cuz I don’t like fat people"

Basically the same as someone starting a sentence with “I’m not racist but…”

If you don’t like them, don’t play them.

This Human is C H O N K Y

…have you ever seen a strongman? Like, in your life?

That’s what you look like when you deadlift half a ton.

KT is actually pretty reasonable for someone who hauls around ship parts for a living. When you lift stuff that heavy, the sixpack tends to disappear, and hourglass figures are completely out of the question. The spine just needs way too much reinforcement for that, and the pronounced muscles get lost among the massive core around it. There’s a bit of fat, just because muscle tends to come with it. But it’s really not that much fat.

The stereotypical heroic physique is produced for show by bulking up to KT levels, then stiffing yourself on calories and selectively inducing atrophy around certain muscles to make them more visibly pop in time for photo ops. It’s an art to be sure, and they’re still going to be stronger than the average dude – but it’s kind of a different animal.

I want the skinny ones too, because options are great and sameface sucks in general. But yeah, the “fat” KT model is pretty damn good.
