I haven’t.
I agree with you about the faces, but it’s not like regular human faces are that much better. Since the update, all faces are bad, but particularly fem human and fem gnome.

Oh look another “kultirans are fat and ugly” thread.
This is a new and exciting topic that hasn’t been beaten to death.
I agree. And these kul tiran faces are along the same lines as those ugly gnomes who used to be cute.
I’m going to quote to another player who said pretty much what i’m trying to say, but he summarised it way more better than me:
And because of that i said:
I read the OP (all their posts in this thread) and i think that she doesn’t think that others body types are unreal. Nobody would think that, all we know that there are short, tall, fat, skinny people. Not always people explain them self properly, and sometimes you must go beyond what people say and see in what context say it, to understand the person.
I know, do that it’s an error in a public forum, and it’s undertandable that several people think just what she wrotte. But sometimes you can realize when someone it’s geting confused choicing words.
Possibly true.
Though, seeing as English is not your primary language, maybe it’s more likely that you are misreading or reading more into what she said than what she actually said? Perhaps to the point of making it seem better than it is? Her own clarification disagrees with your nicer generalization.
You look beautiful!
I don’t think so. I’m more talking about how her (and other people) feels when in some way they are overlooked in video games, TV shows, movies, magazines, fashion industry, and so on.
Again, what she said is what most people who got upset here, understood. But i think that what she said wasn’t what she really want to communicate.
OMG. I looked at your profile picture right when I read this and now I can’t unsee it.
I didn’t think they looked that way in game or in the model viewers I looked at.
Why are people always 10x more critical of female characters than they are of males? The male characters don’t represent many IRL guys either and nobody cares, but somehow people really seem to care that Blizzard made Kul Tiran females unrealistically tough?
Some hairstyles are really good looking, too bad they clip into things really bad currently.
Then why did they said it two times? If the first time wasn’t said in a way that made clear what they were really trying to say, why not clarify themselves to express their meaning in a better way? Instead, they reiterated what they originally said, and clarified their position on that topic to more clearly underline their viewpoint.
If their meaning is as you’ve interpreted it, they have not said so in any of the statements they’ve made…
Also, it’s probably not a good idea to assume you know what “her (and other people) feel”. You actually can not know that. Unless you’re Professor X…
The exactly reason? I don’t know. But i saw this before, it’s not that weird.
I didn’t assume nothing. I said:
I didn’t said “she is not saying that others body types are unreal”, that’s an afrimation. I didn’t an affirmation, was an assumption, based in my own experience with this kind of issues.
For some reason, all humans in WoW look kind of awkward to me. I don’t know if it’s the uncanny valley or just Blizzard’s art design, but I don’t think it’s just Kul Tirans that look off.
Player makes suggestion to company about more options to customize character. Rabid trolls jump all over it, shutting it down.
One would think they would actually want more options for self customization to increase “mah immersion”.
I have no specific problem with the faces of Kul Tiran women, but I really wish there was more variety. Aside from scarring and eye color, there is not much difference. I know allied races don,t have as many options, but in this case few options available are all very similar.
That was the first thing I noticed too. Every single face (no matter what hair style you chose) looked like a guy.
Wide hips
Big thighs/glutes
Huge breasts
Small waistliine
Nope.
I actually like the way they look, the softer looking faces that is. They look cute too me. But I love plump women so I might be biased there?
At least they dont look anything like lady fatvane and her jabba the hut neck rolls.
Also hello fellow Turalyon person! I know your guild!
Agreed. I love my Kul Tiran warrior, she’s tough and strong and has some good emotes…except she kinda looks like a guy. The hairstyles are amazing, but we literally only get 4 faces to choose from that aren’t scarred or wrinkled and ALL four look very masculine, and way too similar to one another. First thing my friend said to me after I made one and showed her was “You look like a dude. Cute hair, though.” And she’s totally right. We need more variety. At least one face with a little make up. Just one face with some eyeliner blush, lipstick, and sleeker brows would be awesome. Kul Tiran women deserve to look fabulous, too.
Beauty is in the eye of the be(er)holder.
