Kul Tiran Race needs a normal weight option

When I originally heard that Wow was getting a new race of larger humans. It sparked the nostalgia of one of my favorite races when I played Everquest decades ago. The race was
the Barbarian race in the city of Halas. When I heard they could be Shaman, I was over joyed. In Everquest I played a Barbarian Shaman and loved it. Then my expectations were mounting day by day until I was able to create my first Kul Tiran character and start adventuring in Kul Tiras. I was happy. But after playing for a while the weight of my character started to bother me. This specially as she ran. Kul Tiran women are shaped like a pear. And when they run it’s more like a disturbing waddle.

I wanted to play a majestic heroic race again. But instead my character looks like an extremely over weight couch potato. I tried playing a male Kul Tiran. But the same thing. The character just looks extremely out of shape.

To be honest in real life. I’m not a slim person. Yes I do have a couple of extra pounds on me. But in a fantasy game I want my characters to look of average weight and physically capable. The Wow Kul Tirans resemble bipedal walruses. All we need is tusks.

I mean, if Jaina Proudmoore who is Kul Tiran, can look as good as she does. Why can’t my character ?

So yeah, I wish that Wow gave us an option to create a Kul Tiran character of mid weight. That would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt thats ever happening, but Kul’Tirans do need more customizations cause theyre severely lacking.

I’d like better face options. Maybe convert some hair and face stuff over from normal humans. I dont mind being thicc but can’t stand bad hair.

i get p upset when i see skinny kultiran npc walking around. wish they had the time to make the females ones so we could play them. humans with undead model would be awesome.

I honestly don’t mind that they’re bulky, I just despise that they have exactly one half-melted looking face shape. I would have made a KT Druid yesterday if I could stand how their heads look for more than half a second.

(The males, specifically. The females look fine. Amazonian archetype is already covered by like 5 different races already.)

If they would allow Blood & Void elves to be Shamans it would solve this problem.

Kul Tiran playable race has been a mistake. Their sole identity is basically “Humans but fat”.

Kul Tirans just need more cosmetic options.

I have walked around Kul tiras. I see all types of Kul tirans some tall some short, some slim, some fat. Some average looking. I don’t get why the devs thought that the only playable Kul tiran character a player could make was a big fat character? I do agree that the Kul tirans should of been athletic looking giants. Wow’s human barbarian race.

I like the body model of kul tirans but their face needs some work, when you place a hat that hides the hair it makes them look 2x as goofy and I can’t stand their dance oml.

There are Slim Kul’tiran NPCs, it should be available as a Body type 3 and Body type 4.

Every allied race needs some customization. Most of them are not even noticeable when you change them how similar they are.

Mirrors Zandalari race imo where they are "Trolls but actually cool "

At least for the males that is. :slightly_smiling_face:

If you visit the classic version of Jaina in Theramore you will understand. She had a lot of work done between then and BFA.

Yeah. Surprised there isnt a Barbarian type human or Berserker class. But those typically wore leather. These would be for the people wanting Vykrul as the closest thing to them.

Why don’t you just roll a human?

ETA: someone had mentioned they should look like the buff ladies from Shadowlands and I do agree they were ripped!
