I don’t know the lore that deeply but maybe someone can enlighten me?
I can, No reason exist as to why not.
More reasons exist for every race to be a paladin wielding some from of power in that same manner then before.
Even more so now with the defeat of N’zoth that would have more races study the light to be better prepared for it next time.
Basically.
“LoRd AdMiRaL’s FaVuH” > “The light” is what Blizzard justified it with if I’m not mistaken.
Could be wrong though.
KUL TIRAN PALLY, WHY NOT?\
Too many boxes of donuts under the belt…well, and over it.
Because they are pagans. They worship the sea.
Because many wanted human druids and shamen, then the paladin class was chosen to be discarded by blizzard, because for them this is not part of the culture of the people of Jaina.
It is the compromise for having zombie druids and sponge bob shamen.
Their religion revolves around reverence of the sea and the Tidemother, unlike Stormwind who worships the Light itself. And in the Second War Kul Tiras mostly handled the naval battles, not so much the paladin shenanigans. Gilneas doesn’t have paladins either.
It’s also a way to differentiate them and give them their own unique identity. Stormwind gets paladin and warlock, while Kul Tirans get shaman and druid. That’s the trade.
Pagans.
Probably based on germanic tribes…
Which did eventually pretty much wholly convert to christianity
There’s a blot out the light joke in there somewhere.
This is a sesible argument.
But not every individual worships the same way amongst a population and they are clearly humans even if the only ones we can play are the fat ones. Some of them use the same human model.
Yet Tauren and Zandy Trolls (best troll) get to be Paladins. Lore means nothing to blizz. I am sure if they wanted to make fat human paladins, they can just make up lore, like make them worshippers of the sun, oh wait Tauren was given that lore to justify their paladins.
The Light looked down at them, and said “Aww, hell no.”
Real Reason: Paladins are for races with good hygiene only, like Tauren.
That isn’t a reason in fact that gives them even more reason to be paladins.
As I stated you don’t only have to wield the light to identify as a paladin and use paladin like abilities.
They could easily be paladins of the sea.
Being a paladin is all about virtue and those Kul Tirans are awfully fishy.
And neither monks. Although we have monks’ animations available, just as we have a Church of Light in our city and this is the main religion of Gilneas.
Blizzard just decided that, because we had no contact with paladins and monks, but they could at least make the Gilneas worship Goldrinn, as some do.
And also because Warcraft has few deities that can guarantee sacred powers.
The closest thing to a goddess we have is Elune and she has no paladins. But a Loa in zandalar can grant trolls paladinic powers.
Other loas and wild gods? No. And I doubt that we would target paladins from Elune, Goldrinn or any other entity in warcraft.
But maybe we see void belad paladins, just for fun.
Paladins are for races that are not a source of mockery.
Fixed that for you!
Check your math, BEs can be pallies.
I would love lore involving a fat human discovering the light, because he was trying to heal a sardine.
Worgen make more sense. They’ve been living in Stormwind for over 10 years.
This idea is brisling with potential.
