Wanting to level a druid before Shadowlands, but I can’t seem to decide which race. What are your thoughts on their forms and casting animations? Do their racials matter at all? Does the worgen body mess up transmog sets too much?

FWIW Kul Tirans have a slightly superior active racial for end game content. It’s a single target knock, but it’s not as good as Meld.
They also look cooler in xmog imo.

Kul Tiran. It’s the only allied race with a completely new model, Xmogs look great on them. The animal forms are fairly unique. I’d say they’re only second to the Zandalari when it comes to the aquatic and cat form as far as cool factor.
As for racials, it’s pretty situational. But I find more uses for Haymaker in PvE and PvP than I did for Darkflight. This druid has been Worgen, Tauren, High Mountain Tauren, Night Elf, and Kul Tiran. I like Kul Tiran the best.
Most helmets look really bad on worgen, and Darkflight is only going to be useful on a druid if you’re rolling a tank. The only real reason to roll one is if you just really want a doggo.
That said, the recent model facelift was really, really nice.

If you’re planning on tanking, kul tiran racials look pretty good. (1% Vers, heal for 2% of damage taken over 4s)
If you’re planning on dealing damage, go worgen. (1% crit, 40% movespeed cooldown)
If you’re planning on healing, I think worgen wins again since a 40% movespeed CD is nothing to sneeze at.
Speaking as a healer, I think I’ve used Darkflight all of like twice, ever. Cat passive speed is almost as fast. It’s pretty good for bear though since you can’t afford to shift. Or DK for that matter.
KT passive heal is pretty much negligible as any class, certainly as a tank. You’ll be topped off or dead before it will ever matter.
Shadow meld is the only correct answer to this question. Anyone who disagrees doesn’t understand how broken meld is

Worgens look cooler. Also having Darkflight on top of all the other Druid mobility stuff is just butter.
Kul Tirans have the better dance, the better heritage armor and better druid forms though…
