Oh god, I want to forget that model even existed.
Cause, uh, yikes.

Kul Tirans allow fat people to play as fat people in-game. Sounds body positive to me. Are you ashamed of your body?
I’d actually argue male Pandas are fat while KT males are bears.
I never thought I’d type a sentence like that in my life.
If you look up “dancing hippos fantasia” and “kul’tiran female dance” and watch them side by side you can see that it is not the same dance moves, so no…that’s not the dance. But “animated ballets” more closely match the dance of Kul’tiran females than any real ballet.
Regardless, this is irrelevant to the “can we get more customizations” request that the OP is disguising as some kind of cause related to “body positivity”.
No one cries when waifs are shoved in our faces, but one healthy, slightly chubby model and everyone goes nuts.
There is no issue here.
Q: How many thicc bodied Kul Tirans in the KT character creation cinematic?
A: ONE
Q: If Blizzard is so proud of the KT thicc body why aren’t they showcasing it?
A: Blatant tokenism
Nope… It’s actually from a movie called Ballerina (Leap! in the states). Its from a specific scene, iirc.
Let’s discuss how the Kul Tiran models are NOT body positive.
I think we should skip right to your actual agenda.
Allow choice/customization of the KT model or allow regular humans to roll shaman/druid and KT humans to roll pally and warlock.
Oh, there it is.
And no.
Having faction/race/class distinctions adds complexity, variety and flavor to the game. Please stop trying to make the game simplistic and flat because your entitlement issues outweigh your understanding of the game’s structure and lore.

I counted 7, and I was barely even trying to find them. There were probably more. Not sure what you’re watching.
Kul Tiran male arms are also thicker than their heads, if they had normal sized limbs their stomachs would look huge.
There is ONE KT female showcased at the beginning of the cinematic. I don’t think I saw another thicc KT in the foreground at all. They certainly are not showcased.
I really don’t understand your POV, Raiyyn… you posts are an odd mix of psudo body positivity affirmation, fat shaming and contrarianism.
Why are you here? What is it your are trying to say?
That Blizzard did a good thing in implementing KTs?
That the tokenism they created is an affirmative stance on body issues?
What is is your are trying to say…cause so far you are all over the place.
I can’t believe this thread is still going. I don’t even think the OP believes anything he’s saying at this point… Glorious.
Blizzard has a social responsibility to thread lightly around sensitive issues, Zareem. Body shaming/heath/ human identity. They just threw overweight humans into the game without a second thought. Their implementation created a lot of body negativity (in game and on the forums). At best it’s tokenism… at worst its toxic. They should correct their stance by allowing players to choose their body type and then the majority of the problems will be solved.
You jump from issue to issue.
Which is it. Body image, Health, Race isn’t as popular as you would like, doesn’t fit the fantasy troupe you want, tokenism?
You change your position every time someone points out a flaw in your argument. This whole thread comes off as troll bait, if you ask me. Which is fine, I’m just killing ogres and time right now anyways.
points out a flaw in your argument.
There is no flaw in my argument. The KTs are the least played race. Blizzard should fix that (for whatever reason) I personally see a lot of body negativity in the haphazard way Blizzard implemented the AR… but you see things differently …and that’s ok. You don’t need to agree with me.
Mmm, I see. So are they anti body positive or are they tokenism of body positive?
Careful, thats a thought crime
I think they are probably both. Body image issues are complex. Thats is why Blizzard should have tread carefully around the issue… which they clearly did not.
Ah I see…
Yea, that is probably a perfectly valid and totally truthful opinion to have and probably isn’t a cover for a much more shallow agenda or opinion… Makes complete sense to me.
You seem overly concerned with my ‘agenda’. Which is fine I guess. But do you agree that KTs are not a very popular AR and that maybe Blizzard should do something to fix that?
Edit: and… looks like your KT is boosted and you aren’t actually playing him at all.
