this thread just got really weird…
We’re the joke people like, you’re the joke people throw rotten tomatoes at.
We’re George Carlin, you’re Carlos Mencia.
I don’t get why Horde players that always complained how Humans are boring and uninteresting yet they are usually the first to defend Kul’Tirans, which are, well, Humans.
I have more soul in my sideburns than the entirety of Belves have in their shoddy, plastic, and ill-proportioned bodies. Every elf in this game invokes a feeling of abject disgust.
So you’re a grouchy donkey that noone likes and hogs up all the specials? Sounds about right.
i’ve played alliance a lot longer than i’ve played horde. i just love the female kt model. the male is good too. but imo the female model is the best female model in the game. i finished up pride of kultiras etc this morning and my goat shaman only needs 10k more rep until i can unlock them. then i’ll have at least 4-5 that i will level.
The entire point of giving characters detailed emotes, idle animations, and casting animations is to make them seem more alive. Kul Tirans miss the mark compared to every other race in the game by far. They are entirely soulless and uninspired to the point of seeming unfinished.
Nothing weird about pointing that out.
Until BfA kul tirans were just humans with a navy. After BfA they are morbidly obese shaman humans with a navy.
There was a significant rewrite of their culture and appearance. They basically did come out of nowhere.
Kul’tiran males are kinda cool, old muscle man body type, pretty nostalgic, reminds me of a lot of cartoons.
But Kul’tiran females, ehhhh yea. There’s nothing muscle about them. They’re just you know.
in YOUR opinion. i look at the kt on the character creation screen a lot to plot out what i want my kt to look like when i finally have them unlocked. honestly they’re one of the better races overall imo. the only one that is better is mechagnome. but i’m not gonna argue with you about that one either. lol
I think you mean Blood Elves.
The morbidly obese have arms that could choke a gorilla? Seriously, how did I not know this?!
And it was a damn good rewrite. A DAMN GOOD ONE.
So you stare at them in character creation without ever having really seen the full range of their in-game animations.
While we’ve both got an opinion on the matter, yours seems ill-informed.
Their arms would provide a soft and warm cushion for the gorillas face. And a blank canvas of arm fat for a skilled tattoo artist.
Thats about it.
I mean, I like that the option is there. I’m also aware that some people want more heavy set humans in the game, which there’s nothing wrong with that. I think it’s neat too, to have more exotic races like Night Elves and Draenei and then to have more down to Earth races like the Kul Tiran. Gives a nice variety to the game.
my best friend has them unlocked. i told her i wanted to make a female kt shaman so had and she trolled me so hard and that’s what she leveled for heritage armor. i see that toon. the exact toon i want, including heritage armor, all the time.
Good gods the mudslinging on both sides of this is terrible and showing off the worst of the community. Let people enjoy what they play, if you don’t like it, too bad. At least it’s not butchering the lore of another race. That’s when I actually hate the concept. I might not play one because I dislike the model or something, but that’s personal preference.
I’m not going to sit here and put down others for what their cartoon character on World of Warcraft looks like, for the gods’ sake.
You mean the race that’s been around for 7 months is least played? Stop the presses!
And as with all races, racials are as much a factor if not moreso than looks. Blood Elves could have had the worst posture and dentistry in the whole Horde, but it wouldn’t have mattered thanks to mana drain and AoE silence racials. KT racials are among the worst in the Alliance for every role except maybe tanking, and they aren’t even the best at that.
They have been around for as long as Z trolls. How do their populations compare?
I play them. Their animations are stellar. They look like absolute units, and they play/move like one. You can feel the weight and impact in every animation. Compared to the fairy-fart elves.
Their arms would pop you like the overgrown green zit you are. I don’t know if you’ve seen their models.
You don’t get protruding veins on your fat lad.
No clue, but see second paragraph.
if zanda couldn’t be paladins they wouldn’t have the population they do either. if kt could be paladins too they’d have a much higher representation. paladin is one of the most populated classes and makes the races that have access to it much higher than they’d normally be.
