Kul Tiran Human Unlock Question

I have a question about Kul Tiran Human unlocking.

I have completed Ready for War on a HORDE toon. When I went to see my progress for Kul Tiran Human unlock, i had to due the Nation United Achievement (Which I just did) and the Tides of Vengeance Questline. I can’t seem to start the 8.1 tides of vengeance questline, what am i missing?

Most new races have a reputation farm also.

They got rid of the rep requirements.

  1. Complete the storyline in each Kul Tiras zone to earn Loremaster of Kul Tiras.
  2. Do part 1 of the Alliance War Campaign to earn Ready for War.
  3. Reach level 50+ on an Alliance character if you haven’t yet.
  4. Do The Pride of Kul Tiras storyline.
  5. a nation United
  6. Tides of vengeance
  7. 20 recruitment quests starting at the stormwind embassy.

I am trying to start the Tides of Vengeance storyline and cant get the quest The Calm Before

Is that the quest that takes you najatar?

No,

It started 8.1, pre-Nazjatar.

First Quest for this storyline you picking up from [Master Mathias Shaw] He is on ship in Boralus 71 27. You need to go to see [Lady Jaina Proudmoore] 67 36 and give her report. After that will be conversation just wait. During a conversation City will be attack by Horde.

Also, if you’ve been in this area since you made this post, you may need to reload/relog so things can update. I’ve had to do that with a few BFA quests. Especially the one that starts the Najatar quest line.

I did some reading and also found this:
As of 9.0.2 (Shadowlands, pre-Chains of Domination), it is still required that to start this questline on a character, you must have completed the [Ready for War ] on that character.

Did you complete ready for war on the character you did everything else on?

Just a heads up for anyone not able to get this quest from Master Mathias Shaw , what no one tells you anywhere is You need The Heart Of Azeroth , to get this quests as all the quests after it are mostly dealing with Azerite , you do not have to complete all the HoA quests i did the first few until you get to Nazjatar then you should be able to get the quest when Jaina opens the port to Boralus.

So Mathias shaw does NOT have the quest for me.

I did NOT do Ready for War on this alliance toon, i did it on a horde toon. However, when i go to the place in Stormwind, it shows that my only req is Tides of Vengeance.

But I think you might be right, I may need to do Ready for War in order to start 8.1 Tides of Vengeance on this specific character. I DO have the HoA on this character.
