They’re humans, so what’s wrong with an ordinary human name? It’s not like their mom and dad intended for this character to be a druid when they were born. Humans name people after other people, like their Dad’s best friend.

Go with a name like Bobby or Jeffrey or maybe go old English with Geoffrey

Someone asks, why are you named “Rufus” and you could say, my mom named me after the guy who fathered me, Rufus. Then the follow up would be "why aren’t you named “Rufus Jr”? Because she was married to John.
