Kubugiland / Oxlin boosting scam

Hey all, just wanted to shoot out a message to be careful when buying a boost from Kubugiland and/or Oxlin. Not sure if they’re the same person or not, but Kubugiland was person accepting the gold for the Strat boosts while Oxlin was running the boost (and Kubugiland auto followed Oxlin after the run was over).

Anyways, I paid for 5 runs up front which was 70g for 5. On average the runs took about 12 minutes which was perfectly fine for the 170-190 kill count, but note that timeframe since later on in the screenshots it’ll be relevant.

Since my timezone is one hour behind for NIT purposes as opposed to in-game chat timestamps, the times will differ, but I’ll try to keep that notated.

You can see here in the chatlog that I first joined the group and asked for price at 4:13 AM - and was told to go in at 4:17 AM, which they then notated as 1/5 indicating the first run was beginning.

In the following screenshot though you can see at 4:29 AM 2/5 was written (3:29 AM my time/NIT). This was the FIRST run complete, which has a start time of 3:18 AM and an end time of 3:29 AM. So by this logic, they were meaning that they were starting the next run (2/5) since the original run (1/5) was over. Keep in mind that they wrote 1/5 when they started the first run, but they wrote 2/5 when they ended the first run. Then, the next run (2/5) started at 3:30 AM with an end time of 3:45 AM. During this is when the “mistake” happens.

Notice at 4:35 AM the leader states 3/5, which was only 5 minutes into the second run, and 10 minutes before it ever ended. This should have meant that they were starting the third run at that point. But then you see the chat log 4/5 appear at 4:45 AM - which is the correct end time for the SECOND RUN. So they counted run 2 as two separate runs, since we should have started 3/5 after 4:45 chatlog, not 4/5.

Confused, and not wanting to assume malicious intent, I asked for clarity, since they were stating that this was going to be the 4th run out of 5 we were about to start on, but we had only done two runs. As you can see in the first 5 screenshots, I asked “will this be 4/5? NIT only shows 2 instances this hour for me” in which Kubugiland responded “this run 4”, which was not the case, as you can clearly see in this screenshot which shows me only having entered 2 instances that hour (plus the one we were currently in) yet the chatlog stating that being run 4/5

We then did “run 4” (in reality run 3) which started at 3:49 AM and ended at 4:00 AM (a full 14 minutes past when they claimed run 4/5 was starting).

Finally, we did “run 5” (again, run 4) which started at 4:01 AM and ended at 4:11 AM.

As you can see, the total time to run the instances was from 3:18 AM to 4:11 AM, which is 53 minutes. They would have had to do, on average, 10.6 minute runs to achieve this - which in the screenshots you can see is not the case.

Now - to play devil’s advocate and to answer any potential rebuttals. I could have deleted one of the instances in my NIT tracker to attempt to frame them. The only recourse I have to that is my chat log from after I left the group (since I left instantly after the “5th run” was done) which shows their last party message at 5:00 AM

Additionally, if you look at the timestamps once again, it adds up to what I’ve claimed: 3:29 AM, 3:45 AM, 4:00 AM, and 4:11 AM were the final end times for the four runs - which again equate to 4:29, 4:45, 5:00, and 5:11 in chat logs. I started at 4:17 AM per my chat logs, so an end time for the first run of 4:29 AM makes sense for the average 12 minute runs. And again, I could have technically deleted the last run from my NIT to frame them, but the chat logs showing them putting in 3/5 AND 4/5 within the same instance should prove that’s not the case.

At the end of the day, it’s 14g - I’m not really that worried about it. Truthfully I just had nothing better to do than this while my character is getting boosted on my other monitor. And had I not noticed the mistake and asked about it I would have chalked it up to my fault for not paying attention or an accident on their part. But the fact that I asked, pretty clearly too I think, which run we were on and even stated that my NIT addon showed we had only done 2/5 runs to which they doubled down stating that 3 had been done at that point - to me that shows malicious intent.
