Kthir Allied race

when ??

Should have had them instead of kul tirans.

With the announced shadowlands customization a lot of allied races should have now been something else.

Kul tirans could have been part of human customization. add options for both skinny and big human models alongside the one already available and add a “background/nationality” option allowing you pick any one of the 7 human kingdoms which changes your character’s voice accordingly.

Probably about the same time we get Mantid.

So long as it includes a toggle-able human appearance, that would be amazing. Toggle-able both in and out of battle (as it’s actually just something they do lore-wise).

As the Worgen’s human form should be.

How can a Kthir be an allied race when they are always fighting us. Arent they the crazy/creepy followers of Lord Stormsong?

Yea lets completely ignore that they are part of the Old God Forces. I think theyre neat but they shouldnt be playable unless the old gods are suddenly friendly and Yogg drops Mimirons Head for me.

We should ignore that because gameplay should always take precedence over lore.

Yeah but Blizz can always write a way for at least a few of them to be friendly after N’zoth’s defeat right? Like N’zoth loses his grasp on their minds and they realize what they were doing is wrong but they’re still in their corrupted K’thir forms

It was Azshara who was controlling them in Stormsong Valley(Lord Stormsong outright was shown being Azshara’s servant) not N’Zoth thus explaining their creating Undead despite the Old Gods hating Undead for the most part unlike Darkened Naaru whose followers like the Twilight’s Hammer and the Shadowmoon Clan create Undead on a regular basis.

N’Zoth’s K’thir are only seen in the Horrific Visions, Crucible of Storm and Ny’alotha.

No.

This idea is as crazy as Eredar or Naga being playable.

Just no.

Ohh okay I see. So then are N’zoths kthir even human?

Vexiona is seen making a Cult of the Void in Ny’alotha and Dark Inquisitor Xanesh is implied to be making K’thir out of Darkwhisper Gorge’s Twilight’s Hammer so they are probably Twilight’s Hammer unlike Azshara’s K’thir which are Tidesages.

To be fair the Nerubians (the still living ones) no longer listen to their masters call.

I think your reaching…

If void infected elves can resist the grasp of the void I see no reason why void infected humans can’t

What about the Taunka?

… ok I’ll allow it.

As long as we get Tuskaar too.

This.

Lotro does this as well. And it really does add a lot of background to your character.

how about never the squid armor is bad enough to look at.
