On my alt Priest that is 594 ilvl. So far I’ve cleared 4 keys on +8 and 1 on +5, 2 others on +2. It’s hard to get into keys other than making my own group. Kind of reminds me of MoP challenge mode, all the people in the group with suck gear getting rekt. So far I’ve done all keys except Dawn so if I do a +5 or higher I think I’ll have KSM, and not even be close to 600 ilvl yet.
Not 2 shabby, just created and leveled the priest that I started last night. Making some big proggers. Will say, I have the cyrce ring at 645 tho which boosts my ilvl and I think might be helping a bit

Took me a week. I managed to not only level, but gear out and ksm in a week lol. Was a race to the weekly recet for sure

Doing 8s with 3 630 carry dps (2400-2700io) killing things before they do damage…and maintaining that same group for 4-5 dungeons on their keys they specifically dropped to 8s for you for your score

You heal CoT and GB on a 596 Holy Priest, or any healer and LMK. Also, in CoT specifically with that “carry” in my +8 you didn’t see the DH tank who was sorta like me with low gear and no IO + myself and 1x DPS 3 manning last boss because those “carries” couldn’t dodge mechanics. Also, I was a random PUG and they inv me to a lower key because of the tank not being strong, but I was a good healer and they wanted me to keep playing… Do you get asked to heal much higher keys than your gear probably should because you’re doing so much DMG and healing?
I did a lot of heavy lifting in every key, this late in the season 2700 players are a mix of people who quit after KSH because they don’t care, and mostly players who are hard stuck there because they aren’t very good.
TBH I can easily surpass your IO while floating at 600 ilvl and we’d be playing with the same pool of players. Why are you even being salty?
I have a guildie who likes to get neglected healers some gear at the end of the season and it always impressed the hell out of me when she heals a +10 on some no ilvl rat alt.
I sometimes go MW on my monk for fun with a healthy amount of gear and I will still struggle haha good work.
Yea usually I just go into random keys on main to help people who are close to KSM or KSH, but made a new alt on new server to play with work friends. Really didn’t think about doing a zero to hero, until I crushed my first key and thought why the hell not.
If I have a mostly guild group knocking out the weekly +10s it’s good fun to help someone get the portal so I enjoy inviting a dps with a +9 in the key we’re running.

Healing check isnt that hard when people ise defensives and their own heals. And i doubt the boss made it to a third round, if it ever finished the second round fully.
Tanking, absolutely. Its not nearly as hard as youre trying to portray it when you’ve got carry DPS melting things before they have a chance to do damage. I already mentioned this. If the tank isnt having to over use CDs, tanks can easily punch above their gear level
Im sure you pushed your buttons and did a good job, but theres not much heavy lifting to do when things arent living long enough to deal damage.

Specifically joined a carry group. First key being done in 12 minutes thanks to the Druid and Paladin blasting 2m+ every pack in 10 seconds lol. These folks who havent ran keys in 10+ weeks just so suddenly running keys, no relation to one another, entirely random folks just coming together and running an entire set of keys together.
My profile wasn’t linked to my alt during the push, and like I said, I joined a +2 or 4 before that. If you look in my runs, they liked my healing and we pushed up a key together. Also, I’m assuming people would inv a random to a +8 if no other healers applied of which I would say that is a real benefit of healing in keys.
