Right now, It’s way too easy to get KSM (think its all 13s?) and KSH is just all 18’s. This feat is not hard to achieve - thus, I believe they should be reverted back to KSM all 15s, and KSH all 20s. Especially next season where IO will be less meaningful progression wise
I’ve particularly noticed the significant skill gap in KSM players to KSH players to players completing all 20s and so forth. Specifically, the skill gap in KSM KSH range is quite low, and lets be honest, all 13s are not hard to complete, especially when theyre removing an affix up to this level, itll be even easier next season.
They tune them differently though. A 13 now is supposed to be “as hard” as a 15 was then. I know I don’t go for high keys but I can get KSM, and I wouldn’t have KSM if they were as hard as 17’s/18’s because I don’t push that hard.
Not only will a 13 get easier and easier as the season prolongs, but they are removing an affix up to this level. A 13 is not hard.
IO will be less impactful in the new season, thus - its simply there to show the skill level of a player. Even now, i am not inviting a KSM player to an 18, nor will i invite a KSH/2500 player to my 20s, they mean nothing currently because i know players in this range can more than likely not keep up in say a 20 key.
Let’s be real, you wouldn’t even be inviting a 2700 player to your 20s because you’re the type of person who holds out for a carry from a 3000 player who’s half asleep and bricks the key.
Funny enough when I do keys I find 2-10 easy, 11-14 are the “hardest”(most players with no clue on how to play) then 15+ starts to get easier again as you’ve weeded out the bads lol.
“What was” has absolutely no bearing on “what is”.
Just because you’ve got the capacity and/or ability to push high keys doesn’t mean others do. It’s been an absolute struggle for a lot of people to get KSM this season due to quality of PUGs and key leavers.
Let KSM be what it is. Make KSH 25’s, I don’t care. But KSM is where it needs to be.
What is easy for you may not be for other people. Is that a hard concept to understand? KSM is an accomplishment for some people who consider themselves pretty casual or new to the m+ scene.
It was to attain to the people who don’t have an interrupt spell on their action bars, stand in dog doo doo, and blame the healer for their faulted death then complain M+ is hard.
Personally I think put it in the range of getting all 14s done considering that the 3rd affix comes in at that level. But I wont go further than that for KSM. It is after all just a participation achievement
