KSM in S4?

How is score working in S4 with the key level squish?

Are keys worth more at lower levels, or are the rewards tied to lower score cutoffs (KSM being at 1k io, for example)?

  • The existing Mythic+ system will pick up where that leaves off, such that a Mythic 5 in Season 4 is roughly equivalent in difficulty, rewards, and M+ Rating awarded, to a Mythic 15 today.

From what i understand, with (iirc, cant be bothered to look up the chart with the equivilencies), the squish they should match to be similar.

(assuming for this example 10 is the new 20) all dungeons @+20(s3) = 2800, all dungeons @+10(s4) should be 2800.

I could be wrong? but im pretty sure thats what i understood

You only need 1 star 13s in fort/tyr to hit KSM in the current system. If it’s all just -10 then it should be 3s now.

Which will probably be even easier since you will play -1 affix

Woah, that’s so weird that KSM will be just two affixes now (and +5 … or lower, I guess?)

thanks for the info everyone, my friend likes to zerg ksm asap (first week usually) but we didnt pay much attention to the squish other than its happening lol

This seems a bit inaccurate based on my week one +5 key scores. I’m seeing my scores for timed keys back closer to what they were when keys above level 10 (in previous seasons only granted +5 per level). Does the calculation at the lower key levels take into account there are less affixes or something and is that lowering score per level now again?

I feel like we are closer to needing +5 on every dungeon in both weeks to get to 2K. I could be wrong, but I need to see what next week gives me to be sure.

What’s your score for full +5s.

Asking for my own sake to see if u want to grab KSM early or wait to get crest upgrades first.

I’m seeing around +187 to +190 for a one chest +5.

KSM without fort keys is all 10s and 9s if that helps any

Ohh that’s not bad. Should be possible to get mount by week 2.

I’ll give it a go when I finish work on Monday!

i got ksm with 456 ilvl in S3, wich ilvl i need to do timed +5 in S4?

depends, how big is your gold reserve?

All kidding aside base mythic is dropping 493, so if you’re lucky prolly around 500-510 ilvl would be a good to aim for. (this is for pugging, you can clear it now when last seasons mythic gear level, just make it easier on yourself to get into groups with.)

5s were more than comfortable right out the gate at 485
will you get accepted below 500 at this point is another question

As a healerim sure i will but ill prob aim for 500, pugs are a pain…

For the thing in question, it’s exactly the same just the numbers start higher, you time a 2 and your rating will go up like you timed a 12 last season. Complete 10s across the board in one week and you’ll have 2k, or you can go for completing 5-6s over Fort and Tyrannical and get it in two.
