Kruul Claps me so hard

Those annihilates are just too devastating I can’t crank out enough DPS before I’m splattered.

Still feel it’s overtuned.

The achievement should be a feat of strength, if it’s not already. Because this challenge is stupid hard.

use orbs to delay the second annihilation for as long as possible. you buy the same time using it at 2 as using it at 4 difference is you are a lot closer to killing and further away from getting 1 shot.

also try picking up mechagon trinket. and warrior’s have execute right?

or are you trying to do it as a guardian?

Should I slap some haste gems? Or stick with vers?

i was verse heavy in my kill kill video on youtube mostly pvp gear with korthia sockets. claws of ursoc (double shadow core and a few ehcnants)

Threw ghost iron dragonling with 2 haste gems and a vers. That DPS check at the end is unreal

DPS check in a tank spec challenge is stupid concept.

Should be see how much damage you can withstand while the other NPCs finish off Kruul.

The point of the dps check is completely reasonable for a tank challenge. As a tank your job is all about positioning and with that comes the potential to have high effects on your groups dps. You’re more readily able to do high damage when things are stationary vs moving so with that comes a similar concept in the Kruul challenge. If you’re constantly kiting you - and your group - will have lower damage on your focus target. It’s the tanks job to gauge the necessary positioning and movement and people don’t seem to understand that’s what this challenge does. Then there’s also the Varis pool that people like to hate on so much, which is another aspect of positioning for a tank to get clear damage onto things while managing mechanics on the ground.

We the tanks should be the damage sponge while the NPCs are finishing off the boss. That would have made more sense for a tank challenge.

Agree with you with more than 260 attempts, wasting a lot of hours, gold, patience well…everything.

I don’t know why casual players, players that simply enjoy normal or heroic raids can fight against mage tower with less difficulty. I know that high skilled players are selfish even if we lose players because of a sad time walking event.

You missed what I said. The tank challenge is supposed to mimic those aspects that cannot be had in a solo challenge. You can absolutely know how to tank and then still not know how to tank. But since you think tanking is only about sponging damage it is clear you dont know how to tank. Tanking has never been just how much damage you can soak. Positioning, knowledge, crowdcontrol and of course threat in the form of DPS have always been core factors of tanking.

And you can still do that in the Mage Tower. Directing all ads including the boss away from Velen and the demon hunter. But they chose to add a DPS check.
