Torghast is now unplayable as a mage. It was already very difficult. We are squish pops and if a boss even touches us we fall over. Kosarus the Fallen is the most anti-mage end boss I have seen. You either tank him and try to dps race him or die. If you move, he gets buffed…well mages can’t tank him, even unbuffed. I’m ilvl 180 on layer 7. I dropped down to layer 5 and the same results. I consider myself a veteran mage player and feel comfortable with the finesse play, but to give these bosses enrage timers that don’t allow you to cc them is unfair to our class that relies upon it. I use pet, 2 frost novas plus ice nova and he breaks cc so fast it’s not enough to keep him snared and away from you. Got him to 20% twice. If you don’t get any dps anima increases on frost, it’s impossible. Too much time wasted in torghast for the reward to be worth it. Too bad we HAVE to do it to craft our legendaries. It was tuned so-so last week, now it’s no fun at all for mages and from what I’ve read, rogues get smashed pretty quick too.
Please tune these appropriately to make them doable. I like a challenge, but I don’t like hitting my head against a brick wall.
