Kriegvals' Rest Delve, Darkfuse Storyline Bug

Today’s Kriegval’s Rest (Bountiful) is the new Darkfuse storyline.

I’ve run it three times, twice on Tier 8 and once on Tier 7. All three runs I’ve only received credit for extinguishing 7 of 8 candles despite snuffing all of them.

Am I missing something? Or is this bugged?
