Kosumoth the Hungering missing drop?

Hey there,

I was doing the chain of requirements for Kosumoth the Hungering world quest. I did this in a party of two (ie me and my partner) and had no issues clicking the orbs. However, once I had finished collecting all the orbs, in the appropriate order, and killed Kosumoth the Hungering, only my partner was able to loot the mount but not me.

I wonder whether this is because we did it as a party (despite there not being any issues with clicking on the orb). If I could get any help, that would be great.

I posted this in customer support and the responding GM suggested I post here. Any help would be amazing!

i just looted him, and he dropped the pet.

i was under the impression that he only dropped either the pet or the mount each time he was up?

was the world quest active for you?
did you get any drop at all?

This is a critical point.

Neither the mount nor the pet is a drop. They’re WQ rewards, which means no WQ, no reward.

I don’t see the WQ active.

As mentioned in my post, I clicked all the required orbs in order. The world quest popped up for my party member, but did not for me. I’ve also retraced my steps and there isn’t a single requirement I’ve haven’t clicked (ie when I retraced my steps, none of the objectives were clickable).
