Putting A Plan Together quest wont accept the turn in. It directs you to the objects you need on the map, they all glow, but when you drag it into the circle to turn it it, it wont take it. Ive logged, and tried to abandon and redo the quest with the same issue.

Still bugged for 3rd piece
3rd piece bugged, unable to complete assault. Joining a different shard doesnât help.
So - how will we all know when this is fixed?
I have the same problem. Itâs that third piece from the cave that refuses to turn in.
First toon quest worked fine now on my alt it wonât accept any armor pieces at all.
first toon - cave piece was last to turn in and in the cave I just grabbed the piece without fighting anything in the cave - could not turn in - Then on this alt - I went to cave first and fought two enemies and was able to turn in the piece - not sure if that matters but that was the difference
Same issue. Third piece (chest for me) wonât turn in. Other quests have had similar issues this patch and itâs getting old.
Yea, I wouldnât have mind waiting so long for this patch if they worked out all the Bugs ⊠This whole patch is one Big Bug report thatâs been thrown in the trash can then Burned

Like others have said, your best option is the realm hop if you are having issues. I abandoned the quest, zoned out, logged onto another toon. Realm hoping is what helped me. I love the Maw but this sharding/phase has been terrible this whole xpac.
Yes, still bugged - like others - the third piece cannot be turned in. Didnât bother trying any of the âsolutionsâ - just quit the game for now. I do love this game, but come on - I shouldnât have to jump through hoops to finish what is âsupposedâ to be an integral part of this patch!

Also bugged for me, on second piece though.
Still canât do it. On my server all the pieces except for the hand are able to be turned in. Nobody can turn it in. Tried dropping the item and picking it back up, didnât work. Tried logging out and back in, didnât work. Tried dropping the quest and doing it over, still getting stuck on the hand delivery.

Seems to be very similar to the finicky corpse-drag quest from the Stitchworks that sometimes simply refuses to work unless being carried by Flytrap.
Semi-related - Something about this assault permanently gets me stuck in combat until I leave the maw.

Has blizzard even acknowledged this is a problem?
Same here it let me turn in 1 but not the other 2 , and there is alot on that are trying to finish this assult
