I’m never one to complain on forums, but this is an exception. I completed the ‘Alterev Valley of Olde’ achievement and got the badges, didn’t get the mount, so I farmed 50 more and still didn’t get the mount. I did this instead of enjoying the leveling bonuses and getting an earlier PVP saddle before progress is wiped Tuesday.
So Blizzard false advertised the requirements for an event (that never changes) because of laziness/incompetence or simply not caring enough to change what they copied yet actually changed the requirement (but no one could tell because of their incompetence) as the previous progress bar was replaced with what seemed to be pvp rewards and people that took the time to meet the requirements are now out of luck and have to redo everything right before something else much more important is made playable on the servers and should take priority.
Amazing service and quality from Blizzard as always, if this is what we can expect from Blizzard in Dragonflight… then I really need to reconsider if buying Dragonflight is worth it.

I don’t see the issue. Korrak’s revenge was up for three years. Why didn’t you earn the mount then, instead of waiting for a prepatch when prepatches are known to have unforeseen bugs?

OP, there was a blue post just released saying it’s going to be fixed or already is, among the list of everything else they mentioned.

Not that I need to explain myself, but I was gone for 6 years, plus even if I wasn’t what I said holds true and I don’t need to play on your expected schedule. This is about a company not caring about an arguably tedious accomplishment not rewarding what it’s supposed to as if they realize people will accept that then it simply gets worse for us in the future.
And isn’t this the 2nd or 3rd time it’s been available ?
It’s almost as if people exist that don’t play all the time, shocking, I know.

Part of Blizzard’s response to this once they made a support article
“Any badges earned prior to the November 10 fix will not count as credit toward the quest, and must be re-earned.”

By the way, Blizz officially stated:
that’s actually unreal…
i earned 220 badges over the past few days on one character to get this mount and have to do it again?
they should literally just retroactively award the mounts to everyone who got the achievement… it’s crazy that they expect people to do the same thing over again

That likely requires effort on the part of engineers instead of hacking together a new ‘bonus objective’ that didnt exist for the history of this mount.
They just dont care enough

Hot smelly trash, all this anniversary/game is. Spend last year anniversary farming it to just come up 40 TWB’s short… After waiting for Blizzard to FIX the issues they knew was there in the first place the BG finally comes out. I complete my achievement and would you look at that no mount!! Now I have to try to find time out of my life to re do something I already accomplished.
Blizzard cant seem to fix anything with any of their games. Just puts off the problem on someone else, their own clients.
Blizzard talks about how much their players time means to them, this is a prime example of Blizzard not giving a @#$% about you’re time.
Have fun farming a second time!
But the achievement isn’t tied to the mount at all.
