Or it means that is also a bad business decision.
…bro is this not the entire point of a limited time Anniversary event that is attempting to emulate the past, classic specifically…
I think you’re missing the point everyone’s trying to make, about how the uniqueness is gone and it has become regular AV now.
I’m not missing anything.
Nobody wanted to do Icelord when it was current, not sure why you think that has changed?
Did they change the quest to win? Last week it was earn 500 honor then the people that wanted to afk out did and the people that wanted to stay for 2 hours did.
I don’t think so.
they did not
Then why did they nerf it if you can leave as soon as you hit 500? That happens pretty quickly.
YOU are the “child” in this… acting entitled… like a spoiled child… celebrating when others fun is ruined… how selfish. its disgusting that blizz lets people like you do whatever and berate others while acting offended when called out… really nasty.
‘why are people miffed that the nostalgia-fest is becoming less nostalgic? i determined that janky game modes were only something blizz did in the past, and when i say something is bad, then it must be!’
then dont queue for it?.. if you are just after the currency for the event… you know… the weekly… you dont have to finish it in one sitting… since its a weekly… but if you can see others play ruined, then people like you are happy it seems… and people wonder why there is animosity.
If I were stuck at lvl 23 in Classic, I would probably be angry too. Maybe you need a break from the forums, some time in the game, and go celebrate the success of lvl 60 in Classic. You also took my comment very personally, which means you feel called out for acting in a childish manner. Your post solidifies it. So, how about you settle down, and go enjoy the game. I am currently on my 4th win in Korrack’s today and increasing my Honor and Conquest like gangbusters! I bet if you were logged in and playing, you would be happy as well.
Why am I ruining anything by not wanting to do Icelord?
Seriously?
/facepalm
LMAO!
Oh knows, I said I don’t like wasting time on Icelord…shoot me.
Y’all be trolling me, silly kids all up in arms about nonsense content.
“But mah Icelord!”
I really enjoy Korrak’s Revenge! Last year, I discovered it has so much more to offer than the typical Alterac Valley battleground. I’ve tried completing the smaller side objectives in regular AV, but it often feels like players just don’t care, especially those in queue-syncing premades. They also have issues with pugs, which is a whole other topic. While I may not know what it was like back in the day, I find Korrak’s Revenge to be a challenging and rewarding experience. I also appreciate the increased number of NPCs wandering around and guarding. It’s a kind of epicness that seems to be missing from the regular AV.
Last night, I played seven matches as Alliance. In five of them, players rushed to defeat the boss without capturing towers, killing named NPCs, or focusing on objectives. It felt like some players were intentionally throwing the matches to give the win to the enemy, and many of them AFK’d once it was clear we were going to lose. They approached it like a regular AV, because no one was going to back-cap, except me, which is really disappointing. At times, it felt like I was the only real player and everyone is a bot. Anyways, for those of us who are casual players and genuinely logs on and want to enjoy PvP in these battlegrounds, it feels like we’re out of luck, and we just have to accept the disappointment.

Anonymity, my friend. No fear of repercussions.
Ah well, makes little difference. I am logged in and enjoying myself.
With the current Korrak you can still farm your 500 honour easy enough, but at least with the new guards you can at least finish a game, it still takes longer, but it’s no longer a stalemate for hours on end.
it turns out classic av is as boring and unfun as the regular one with the dreadful caveat of potentially devolving into an infinite turtle
who could have possibly thought that this would be the case
I do not enjoy PvP at all, but the old AV was such a blast. I miss the times of leaving a match only to come back a day later to the same match going on.
I usually did old AV during Wrath and a bit after that I think to try and power level a bit. But it was fun to be part of the zerg the first several dozen times I suppose.
You people stink. This thread has been going on for almost 24 hours and here you both are. You guys should queue up for Korrak’s together and kiss or something
